This restaurant is a five star food and service experience. Clearly the best food we ate while here!

Enjoyed a nice dinner on the bay. The grouper was excellent and the service was very good. Can't beat the atmosphere!

First I'd like to say I strongly disagree with Rusty from Fayetteville, Georgia's review. Please don't miss a marvelous opportunity to enjoy a charming and memorable dining experience at Bay Cafe. We dine at Bay Cafe rather frequently and it is in our top 3 of all the Fwb, Destin and Pensacola areas. The chef is the owner, and French... More

My wife heard about the Bay Café at her Bunko game a while back. We decided to go there this past Sunday after church. You have to wind around a bit to find the place but it is worth the effort. We were seated outside overlooking the water. We ordered French Onion soup and it was delicious. She had pan... More

This is a very good little French restaurant on the bay. The grouper wellington is my favorite dish, and they have nice champagne options too. Don't skip dessert!

Casual dining for lunch and dinner. Indoor and outdoors on the bay. Good for boating up for a leisurely meal, which is good because you will be there a while. The seared duck liver appetizer is Devine!!! Everything was yummy and you really feel like you are in France. The water oaks look like olive trees!!! Wonderful for a relaxed... More

Unbelieveable dining experience! This was our last night of vacation and now all of the other meals we've eaten pale in comparison to this one! I had the grouper Wellington and it makes the top 10 of all of my favorite dishes I've ever eaten. Perfection. Tourists don't know about this place for some reason... It's quiet with a great... Oh my goodness... Beautiful patio and delicious menu options with several specials. You can not go wrong with the lobster Wellington. They are seafood and sauce perfectionists. I will never return to Ft. Walton without eating here. In fact, I'd love to stay for a week just to try every menu item!

This is where we have celebrated our anniversary for several years and they never disappoint. Food is fresh and superb. Wine list is excellent and the bread is fabulous!
