We've been here for lunch, dinner, and just a drink. It's within walking distance of our condo and we love the food--great soup and seafood. Everyone is friendly and the view is great!

I had shrimp and it was good, nothing special. Atmosphere is welcoming and service was fine. Overall the restaurant is clean, and affordable for families.

We loved this restaurant! We had Nicole as a waitress and she was EXCELLENT!!!! Very friendly and she talked to us for a while about food and different subjects! She checked on us all the time and we didn't even have to ask for refills! She was wonderful. She was training a young man and doing an excellent job! We... More

The place is a real dive on the water. When we walked in we really didn't know what to expect. This place is really run down. We were looking at the construction and trying to figure out how it would make it through a hurricane. But we were not there for a hurricane. There were three of us and we... More

During our stay in Destin-Fort Walton Beach, the wife and I tried dinning out at the Crap Trap. The food was good, but they were a little pricey. Be prepared, it's crowded and the parking is tight but it's a good place to try.

We were thrilled with both the quality of our lunch and Ashley's terrific service. Ashley suggested the smoked crab appetizer with homemade, warm pita chips. Her recommendation was spot on. At her suggestion we also enjoyed the lunch special. We chose the grouper fingers with hush puppies and two sides. I was thrilled to have a mixed vegetable medley and... More

On our last night we planned on eating at Floyd's. It was closed for some maintenance. We were told to go to the Crab Trap. As I had already been looking forward to the Coco Loco Shrimp, it was very disappointing that the Crab Trap did not offer some kind of coconut shrimp. The service was alright. Food was OK.

We went to the crab trap for Valentines Day while my cousin and his girlfriend were in town. JESSICA K. Was our server. She was by far the best server I have had in the crab trap. I am a local here. My mom and I enjoy going to the crab trap especially for lunchtime. We are regulars. They always... More

An absolutely beautiful place to dine, right on the beach in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. The food was fantastic and I felt the portions were pretty considerable. But you will pay a rather steep price. With that said, The Crab Trap will always be one of my family's stops on our yearly trek to Paradise.

First, we were there in a slower season...early December but still got a burn sitting in the warmth of the sun. The deck area was perfect to lounge, cocktail, nibble and relax. Went back several times - different servers but all were personable and helpful. Lots of yummy appetizers to choose from. Birds not too much of a nuisance. Watch... More
