Server Saved the Day

On a Wednesday evening, we recently decided to go out for dinner as I was too tired to cook. We were dressed pretty casual so went to a local establishment that we were familiar with. Hotel stated this was the "IT" spot for great seafood. However, I must disagree. The food was only average and not worth the money we shelled out.

The food was excellent. The menu was a little pricey, but if you got the special of the day, it was tolerable. Our server was Tom & he was very informative as to the menu, specials & area attractions. Thumbs up!

My husband and I went here for our date night in May of 2015 and it was absolutely amazing. We had the best shrimp we have ever eaten and the gulf breeze was so refreshing!

Tom was our waiter, and he was very personable, and of the ball as far as the services he provided. We were there at about 6 PM, after a huge lunch at McGuires, so only wanted drinks and hourdourves. Tom treated us like we order the whole menu! He was quick w/ all our order, and the prices were in... More

Crab claws were good but my dinner was not as good as it usually is. Not a bad place to go and sit on the deck. Kids menu is pretty nice if you have the family.

First time to The Crab Trap. My friend and I went there for lunch. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed and our server, Blair, was great!! He even cracked the crab claws for my friend. I had the pasta with shrimp and lump crab. The flavor was very good but it could have been heated for just a bit longer... More

Visited in the off season, plus had an early dinner. Our server was also the bartender but never missed a beat, even when it started getting busy. The food was excellent as well and prepared very quickly.

Everything here was just ok. One in the party described shrimp skewers as ok. My wife and I had Parmesan crusted mahi and it was ok. The best tasting item that I had was the sweet chili calamari. The service was good.

My wife liked this place - she was on a mission for crab, and had legs and cake. She enjoyed it very much and reported the crab cake was mostly crab and little binder, unlike other places she had been. Her rum punch was good - mixed for effect, not to maximize the alcohol delivery, which is how she likes... More
