Wonderful Find

My husband and I decided to stay in Fort Pierce, Florida for a few days. Dinner time arrived and we had no idea where we wanted to eat. Drove by this place and finally decided to see why the parking lot is always full. Stopped for appetizers and tried the conch chowder and fried shrimp. Could not find or taste any conch in the chowder which was really just a bowl of vegetable chili....odd. The fried shrimp were very good and there were a number seafood items on... More

The room is way too noisy. Was very difficult to have a conversation. It could use some sound suppression. The food was very good but maybe a little overpriced. It was a weird eating at a table with local advertisement built into it considering the prices.

We were attending an event at the Sunrise Theatre last night and decided to have dinner at Chuck's Restaurant. I would strongly advise making a reservation - they are extremely busy. We pulled into their parking lot and were greeted by an obnoxious gentleman who apparently monitors their parking. He said the lot was full and my husband asked him... More

Took advantage of special menu offered 3 to 6. Shrimp appetizer and fish sandwich were excellent. My wife tried a roast beef sandwich which was tasty but a bit fatty. Nice inlet location with views from inside or outside on the deck.

We thought we give it a try for dinner while visiting the area and the reviews were good. Unfortunately our dining experience was disappointing. We order conch fritters for an appetizer. It was hard to find the conch and they were a little greasy. The salad appeared to be made earlier in the day. I say that because the carrorts... More

A group of four had dinner at Chuck" restaurant on Valentine's day for a romantic dinner. The inside of the restaurant is not romantic at all except if you get a table right next to a window in which there is a beautiful view of the water and sunset. Other reviews complain about the expense of the food, but I... More

There were six of us and everyone loved their food. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food.

OK I may be a bit prejudiced about Chuck's....I live across the street! But I am tough on reviews and the staff and owner, Peter, care about providing the freshest seafood, steaks, and service in the area. The setting is wonderful upstairs but many prefer the old feeling of the downstairs dining/bar setting. The fresh bread is warm, the fried... More
