Under new management now without the attractions of yesteryear.....sunset dinner deal, Sunday brunch and Happy Hour offerings. Still a good physical location

Last year new Management took over Mangrove Matties,(now called Manatee Island) it needed something new to bring it back to life and this they have done with the addition of a Tiki Bar and deck with live music which is to the side of the restaurant so if you just want to go for drinks and to hear the music... Friends gather here, especially on weekends, for good music and good food. The prices are reasonable whether for dinner, appetizers, drinks or a combination of all that. Since it is under new management it has a new name. MANATEE ISLAND . Some new items have been added to the fare. The inlet view is an added bonus. This visit was... More

I love the new deck and outside seating. The food was outstanding we had Mahi salad for $15.00, we were bummed we didn't get rolls with our meal. The band played too loud for the seating so close. The railing around the deck should be lowered a few inches so we can enjoy the boats going by. Our waiter Sam... More

First visit here in 5 years. It's under new ownership for about 3 years and called Manatee Island. Still love the atmosphere, overlooking the inlet. Plenty of boats, pelicans and dolphins to keep tourists entertained. Sat outside, where they're expanding the deck into a tiki bar, so it was a bit noisy with construction, but that should be done soon.... More

Oh yes, they have all you can eat crab. I'm not a fan of it, but my family is and they loved it. The atmosphere is a little dressier than most places but not fancy by any means. It's a great view out the window. They have a parking lot. Prices are a little more expensive. It's great to visit... More

The food is excellent, the service superb. They have an amazing happy hour with 1/2 prices on selected foods. I quite like it. Not crazy about the colors, but they have a sister restaurant either in Stuart or Port Salerno with the exact color scheme. Staff is awesome.

This place has a great location. When it was Mangrove Mattie's the food quality was not high. I'm being nice. It's now called Manatee Bay I believe. Had lunch there last week and the food was noticeably better. Prices are reasonable and the view is great. Very relaxing. I'll go back again.

Server was not very attentive. My food came out wrong. My boyfriends burger was way over cooked. Went outside to watch the band and have a drink , however the bartenders were too busy flirting with each other to notice people at the bar. I was so disappointed due to hearing great things about this place. Finally we went to... More
