Quirky roadside spot

We ate what I believe were called "dirty oysters" -- a dab of sour cream and caviar on raw shellfish. Tasty! The oysters and a cold beer were a good accompaniment to some kicking back and watching the world go by. We ate here based on the good reviews but were not impressed. The chicken meal was average at best, with small side dishes but a hefty price for what you get. Service was friendly but the dining area is small. We won't be back.

Nothing special, small hole in the wall. Better restaurants nearby. Not very clean in appearance. Food is below average, poor service.

Food was off the chain, we had oysters, lobster, shrimp, and subs. Tried the seafood chowder and it was great. Lots of cool artifacts to look at and we hot to meet the real deal Capt. Bob

Decent food but I would not make a special trip. The food could use some updates. I did like their pulled pork however and the sauce that accompagned it. Drinks were very fair priced as well.

I like this place but the food and service sometimes leave things to be desired. The food was better than okay but not the service as people were running around trying to figure things out.

Wife and I stopped in because the sign out front said "oysters $9" we assumed the price was for a dozen as thats the normal going rate, it was for 6, a dozen was $18! A little misleading, but no big deal in itself. The real part that was awful was there was a man in the kitchen who was... More

We were visiting Fort Pierce because the loss of a good friend Greg Fredrick. We came across Capt. Bob's when the smell of the smoker BBQ filled the air. We stopped from lunch, the pulled pork was great. We came back a few nights later for dinner. The sea food buckets and garlic toast was wonderful. The chef's were friendly... More

We were trying to eat somewhere near ft pierce on Saturday night. It was freezing outside and all top list places were full. We got to captain's Bob more less by accident. It was great, food was delirious, service very frendly. It was empty from some reason but it was like. Being invited for dinner to someone home. See food... More
