Excellent early bird breakfast. They are consistent and I always sit at the bar and get a wonderful hot and hearty meal. They give you what you want like crisp bacon, soft scrambled eggs or what ever yu need. Their grits are good and coffee is hot. what else to you want.

The hotel where we stayed provided breakfast, but it wasn't worth having, so we ventured out and found Captain's Galley. We were greeted each day by Shaela who provided very friendly and efficient service, insuring we had all we needed. The breakfast special was a great bargain, and offered lots of options. The biscuits and pancakes were exceptional. On one... More

Five of us went there and the food is great! The breakfast special is so much food. We had the Greek omelettes and it was great! The pancakes are wonderful, too! We can't wait to go back again!

Found this place on our last day. I wish we would have found it sooner. We had been just going to McDonald's every morning. Great service and good food.

Great pancakes were served. We also enjoyed the waffles and French toast. Orange juice had to be from Natalie's, which is the best juice ever.

Best breakfast in Fort Pierce. Even when super busy, and long lines, they turn over super fast. However, I have never felt rushed when eating there. Food is great and very reasonable. It's where all the locals go. My favorite place to meet my friends for breakfast and coffee.

Good meal for a good prices. Tends to get very crowded and nosy early so go early for less wait and noise. They do grits and eggs well.

We stopped in for lunch. I was pleased to learn that I could order breakfast despite it being afternoon. I went with an egg-white Greek omelet. It was a quantum leap beyond the usual Greek omelet, which usually contains spinach and feta cheese, in that it also was topped with diced tomatoes and kalamata olives. A nice touch. The only... We had been looking for a nice local place to have breakfast where we could sit down and be served but we could find nothing on the main roads from the interstate to Fort Pearce but fast food dives. Finally, we stumbled on The Captain's Galley after we took a back road to see the marina. It was a treasure... More

Inattentive service and below average food make this a poor choice for breakfast. And why are the pancakes so salty???
