The Fort Myers I know and don't really love is the sprawling series of chain retail along HWY 41--a place I drag the kids to see my wife's mother from time to time. We love grandma, but it gets old going to Bonefish Grill, Bajama Breeze and The Tilted Kilt after a day of relentless Fox News and... read more

We had 3 different meals here for lunch.. All were dissapointing .. The Mahi Fish meal was greasy small pieces... The Thai fish was so over cooked that the breanding was charred tasting and the Mahi fish was way over cooked. The Jerk chicken sandwich did not tast like any carribean jerk I have ever had ... More like a... More

The Parrot Key is a type of Pirates of the Carribbean establishment. It certainly fits in well along the water in SW Florida. We went to dinner on a Friday night one week before Halloween and the place was packed. We had to wait 25 minutes of a table overlooking the water, so we decided to sit at the bar... More

Grouper was tasty, breaded just right. Coleslaw a little bland. Fries were good. Beer was very cold. Coupons in most tourist flyers. Staff wasn't terribly friendly, but attentive. So-so experience. No stand-outs except really cold beer.

It seems to get better every year. New or updated menu that brings us in a couple times a week. Relaxed interesting restaurant very nicely done with a great view of a marina. Friendly easygoing servers makes for a fun time. Give it a try. You will be glad you did.

My wife and I had just rolled into town and went looking for lunch. Based on the TripAdvisor reviews, it appeared Parrot Key was the type of place we were looking for. It turned out to be that and more. The food was freshly prepared and very good. The service was very friendly and attentive. And, how can you beat... More

Went for lunch and a couple drinks. Great friendly service. Seafood nachos were a nice lunch for 2. Rum drinks strong and cold. Will be back again.

We went on an insanely busy night, the night of the Christmas Boat Parade. As they have open atmosphere seating along the water, a lot of people had the same idea we had, to get there early so we could eat, drink and watch the boats with their lights. We didn't have to wait the hour the hostess predicted, and... More

Not only is this a Packer bar but it has great food. We had calamari and oysters. Both meals were wonderful. The waitress was real friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. The bar has lots to look and cool t-shirts for sale. We were told that the place is standing room only for Packer games. Definitely recommend and will... More
