Yes, the view is wonderful at Gulfshore Grill, but the food was disappointing. The salad bar -- yum. I ordered on the "early bird" special deal. This entails paying $12.95 for the salad bar and then for one dollar more, I could order an entree from a select list. Sounds like a super good deal, expect that the flounder I... More

This is one of our yearly stops while at Ft Myers Beach. Great food and a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Good time to go later in the evening around 7pm. Eat and watch the sun set. Food: $$$ Huge salad bar with meals, great service by our waiter from Michigan. The swordfish was the best I had... More

Went for a family breakfast. Great view from the second floor, right on the beach. Very large portions, and everything was yummy. The waitress went out of her way to give the picky 6 year old a mixed fruit bowl that she really liked! Thanks!

What exactly IS beach bread? Pizza dough with some sauce and seasonings, and a little cheese. It was, in a word 'okay' as was the rest of the meal. I had Gulf shrimp in some kind of Alfredo sauce over linguini; again -- 'okay'. They leave the tail shells on the shrimp and it's a messy job to get them... More

Our party of 8 was seated promptly and provided with menus and we sat for over 15 minutes as server after server walked by our table without acknowledging us. Someone dropped off bread and butter but no plates, no silverware or napkins, no water or anything else. Another 5 minutes later we had to ask someone to come to our... More

I had the Salmon dinner. It was over cooked and dry. The scalloped potatoes were also overdone with a sauce that was cold and distasteful. The asparagus was under cooked and bitter. The server did not know which order went to who on a table of 13. To top it all being a Sommelier their malbec was extremely bitter, I... More

Had a great visit to the Gulfshore Grill! Service was great and the food was delicious! Some meals were a bit expensive though, but the breakfast was worth it!

I was startled to see a previous review stating that the service was poor, because my Mom and I were impressed by how attentive (without being intrusive) the server was! We also enjoyed our window view of the beach and pier. Best of all, the food was surprisingly good! We were in time for the early-bird special. If you ordered... More

The shrimp quesadillas were delicious. Also the triple shrimp is excellent--it has coconut shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp and fried shrimp. The dinner is very generous with salad (lots of veggies) and two sides. I had grilled squash and fries. They have a pineapple mango vinaigrette that is exceptional. The service was excellent, view excellent and the food was worthy of... More
