Much Better!

This was our third try at the Fish House. The first in February of 2014 was great. The second in the fall of 2014 was not very good. We decided to give it another try. Glad we did. We really enjoyed this restaurant during our 2014 vacation, but our visit this year was disappointing. Service was slow, our waitress was actually rude, and the grouper basket was over priced and not that good. We found much better food and views for the $$.+

We were there twice during our stay at the beach. The first time I had the lobster roll (yummy) and coleslaw, and my husband fish in a basket (cod, I think). He enjoyed it as well. Our friends had coconut shrimp and scallops, and thought they were tasty. We went early and didn't wait long. It is an interesting place... More

The food was horrible. My salmon was dry but didn't look cooked, not sure how that's possible. The vegetable side dish was overcooked and cold. My husband's chicken was overcooked and the entire dish was cold. It was nasty! The tables were dirty, a bleach wipe would have helped.

We love the Fish House, in spite of the fact that the parking is difficult, the line is often very long, and the place is a little chaotic. But we live nearby, so we can avoid the otherwise nightmarish traffic of Ft. Myers Beach in March, and we like the food so much. The highlight is always the fried shrimp... More

Please don't take this as negatively as it will sound. Overall we love both Fish Houses we've visited. We'll return, probably yet this week. They have the best cocoanut shrimp, the best fried oysters. The Fort Myers store stumbled on their fried clams yesterday afternoon however. The order came out fried to a golden brown and they were huge! Unfortunately,... More

This place is right on one of the canals in Bonita Beach. There's valet parking - which is huge because parking in the area is tricky. The service was excellent - our server was very attentive and took care of our orders promptly. We split the smoked fish appetizer - which was delicious - and then each of us had... More

Tucked behind the shopping center (To get here you must go via Lenell Rd). Many GPS will guide you to the marina south of here but it's just below Lenell). My wife had the Broiled Grouper, our friend the blackened Grouper. I had the shrimp & lobster pasta. Excellent Sweet Potato fries! Kevin took good care of us!

Excellent seafood. Fresh and yummy. Service was good and nice casual atmosphere. Hush puppies were a favorite. Mahi mahi was perfect.

This colorful dining spot is a favorite among locals especially for late lunch and drinks. Service is always good. The menu is varied with some favorites sporting little touches that make these dishes interesting!! For instance, the "poppers" were actually shrimps stuffed with cream cheese and jalapenos then coated in crunchy batter and deep fired. To die for. My friend... More
