Table of 9--at the Bar!

The place was packed when we got there. All the tables were taken (it was around 7:30 p.m.) But there were enough consecutive seats at the bar, so we took 'em. And Donna was a great bartender/server. She was very engaging, knew a lot about the menu, and got all of our orders correct! Poured a... read more

We have enjoyed Skip Ones on Hwy 41, but this new location just inland from Ft Myers Beach boasts a beautiful restaurant and fresh fish market. My favorites are grouper and shrimp. With a full service bar this is a special place.

We found this place few trips ago to Fort Myers Beach. We have had dinner there at least 2 to 3 times every time we visit. Food is excellent, service friendly and not any pricier than other seafood place! But the food is BETTER less greasy and much fresher. Can't wait to return to get a great seafood feast!

We stopped in after mini golf for dinner and the prices and food were great. Our waiter was really quick and helpful. The shrimp and grouper were fresh and prepared well. I am guessing they are just on the wrong side of that horrible bridge to be a top pick in the area.

The food was great. The scallops and fried oysters were cooked perfectly. The grouper was really good. ( we had blackened, grilled and fried). I have family who live here and all of their friends eat here. Would definitely go back.

We met another couple for dinner last week. We normally hit higher end restaurants but tried Skip one as it seems there's always a line outside. Drinks were good, staff was very pleasant, the meal was good (try the Skip's choice, blackened).. our dinner tab was ver reasonable.. overall it's pretty good

The menu looks great at this restaurant! Fresh seafood prepared in any fashion. They boast about their shrimp as they own the largest fleet of shrimp boats in Florida. For a starter we ordered conch fritters. We love conch fritters as we do not see conch on menus regularly where we are from. They arrived hot, with perfect texture and... More

This review is for the Fish Market not the restaurant. There is a good variety of seafood for the consumer to choose from.
