We were disappointed - service was awful, they kept giving us the excuse they were "busy", it was a Friday night in February what where they expecting? The food was overpriced and tasted average. We will not be going back, much better restaurants to choose from on FMB. more

It is amazing how a once very decent restaurant can go to the level that Montanzas has gone in just a few years. What a shame that no one in the kitchen is in charge to make sure that a half decent meal is served to the patrons. We tried Montanzas for dinner this past January and what they served... more

If you need a gift card,better pick up in person or order elsewhere if you need it to be sent as a gift. They take your money but wait 10 days before mailing. I did not realize the poor reviews of the service and food until i read this ....Maybe its a good thing to order elsewhere. more

I took my daughters here for lunch on New Years Eve. They ordered a grouper sandwich. I ordered the fish sandwich on the menu that was $3 cheaper. All 3 of us got the same fish. We questioned the server and she said that they look very similar. We are not stupid, they looked the same and tasted the same.... more

We ate at Matanzas Restaurant on December 3rd. It was the worst meal I have ever had eating out and I'm not a picky eater. The garden salad was fine. The baby carrots had been soaking in water so long they were like little sponges. The rice had a terrible flavor that is hard to describe and was very dry.... more

Had Swordfish lunch special (Mon.4/23) with fries and a bowl of Conch Chowder. Fresh, hot, nicely seasoned. Chowder was good, and quite spicy for me, has a tomato base. We ordered Stone Crab Claws that were on the menu, and given Snow Crab. Upon bringing this up to the waitress, she stated that these were Stone Crab claws..but they come in different shapes and sizes. Upon pushing this point, she stated that they did not have Stone Crab as if it was ok to substitue any type of crab.... more
