We ate upstairs at the Upper Deck (casual dining option). Service was excellent. Sunday night had a one man band that kept everyone entertained. Conch chowder, coconut shrimp, and shrimp burgers.....all outstanding! Going back tonight.

My wife and I went for dinner here last night, we were sat promptly, no wait at 6:30pm. Our waitress, Mirna, was very attentive and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY a recommend the Grouper prepared with shrimp and basil. A phenomenal dish.

There are many great restaurants on Ft Myers Beach, but if you're looking for the real Florida, check out the restaurant at Matanzas Inn Resort. It is situated under the Sky Bridge, right on the water. Boat docking is available and we choose to cruise on over for lunch to try their new menu. Encouragement from our attentive waitress, Cathy,... More

After reading a newspaper article which mentioned this restaurant's involvement in serving local vegetables, we looked them up for dinner. This was one of the better meals we've had in Fort Myers Beach. We were told they don't take reservations, but would put us on the "call ahead list". I still don't know what that means; we were seated promptly... More

We went for dinner on a Tuesday night in mid January. We wanted an outside table so we called ahead for reservations (I have heard it can get crowded). We had reservations for 5:30 and when we arrived the place was full, but not to capacity. We had a very nice table on the water. The service was good -... More

I have been eating at Mantanzas about once a year during my annual trip to Ft. Myers for many, many years. It was a favorite with my grandparents, parents, and now with the kids. It is a little bit away from the "beach" which is nice because it is easier to avoid the spring breaker crowd. It has an upscale... More

We ate at Matanza Inn with friends on our last evening at Ft. Myers Beach. This establishment is located under the bridge on the marina. The food was average, the service a bit below average. Compared to the atmosphere & food at Nervous Nellie's, this establishment failed to win us over.

My wife and I dined here on a beautiful evening and watched the moon rise over the marina. The fresh fried grouper was amazing...very lightly fried and unbelievably delicious. Also enjoyed the chocolate cake with strawberries and ice cream...deep, dense chocolate made my wife very happy. An overall wonderful dining experience!

We live on the north end of Fort Myers Beach, and the newly renamed "Matanzas on the Bay" is the closest "nice" restaurant within walking distance, which is a nice thing during the season when driving is a big hassle. There is no better view of the back bay than this place offers....tonight the moon was rising over the bay... More

Thank you for dining with us and for taking the time to write your review. We take great pride in offering the best and most properly cooked seafood we can. That being said. we certainly do not claim to be perfect and we do make mistakes. We would have loved the opportunity to re-cook your dinner that night to perfection... More
