Charley's was across the street from where we were staying so we decided to try it. They offer an early-bird menu and we arrived in time to try it. The dinners listed on the menu were approximately $5 off the regular price. We tried the teriyaki steak which was excellent, a regular sirloin which was way overcooked and tough, salmon... More

We went for a wedding rehearsal dinner and found a restaurant I will visit again on this trip! Their salad bar is great, make a few trips but not to many cause there main courses are delicious. I had the Mauhi Mauhi and it was delicious! Large portion and served with a baked sweet potato! My wife had the strip... More

The restaurant was very dated, 1980's and needs an update to decor to match the prices they charge. Paid $28 for a NY Strip and baked potato that Outback blows out of the water. Not impressed with "Sizzler" style salad bar to make up for over priced seafood and steak. Felt gouged as tourist after leaving this restaurant.

Ate here at 6:00 on a weeknight. The menu was overpriced and unoriginal. Salad bar only is $13 and you would be hard-pressed to eat $13 worth of salad in one sitting. One in our party ordered shrimp -- there were a measly 5-8 shrimp on his plate. I joked that he must have ordered off of the child's menu.... More

While in Ft. Myers beach we asked around where to eat for dinner and everyone said, "Charlies". Well......it is one of the best places to eat!! Outstanding service, beautiful view of the river, fresh salad bar and it was HUGE!

We went here for my girlfriend's son's 20th birthday dinner while on vacation. The food was good, salad bar really was full of fresh choices and we got there right at six so the waiter let us order double happy hour drinks and we got a couple early bird dinners which was cool. The absolutely insane woman at the next table... More

This place has been around for a long time and has consistently maintained the quality they are known for. The name has changed a time or two, but the restaurant sits on a canal and you can watch the local wildlife while you are eating. The salad bar is the best I have encountered, and the steaks and seafood are... More
