We were having somewhat of a family get together at a beach house on Fort Myers Beach. My two brothers and I are all seniors and rarely get opportunities where all three of us are together. Since we all like the area, we booked a house on the beach for a week. Within walking distance are several very good restaurants.... More

Great service upstairs. Ordered mussels, flat bread and beer (99 cent). One of our favorite happy hours on the island.

Great restaurant directly on the beach road, the Yucatan shrimp is absolutekly to die for. The other food is good as well as we also enjoyed fish and chips and a mexican salad. Very friendly staff as well in this nice restaurant

The food was pretty good for what they had the day we went they were out of half the menu because I guess they were closing down for 2 weeks for cleaning (who closes down for 2 weeks for cleaning?) They didn't even have ranch dressing. And the bartender on the roof was probably the worst service I ever had.... More

We sat up top in the warm FMB air during our time at the Beached Whale. Got a Cobb salad and let me just tell you.... it was large! So much meat, cheese and other toppings that it was hard to find the lettuce, but I truly didn't mind :) it was well priced. Service was good and overall, I... More

We went there for cocktails more than once. The last time we went we shared platters of chicken and a platter of shrimps and my grandson enjoyed a dish of mussels. The servers couldn't do enough for us and brought me packs of Doc Fords sauces to the table when I asked if they had them for sale. Wish I... More

The food was very overpriced for what you receive. Mediocre at best. Not too impressed. For the money, I could have found a better establishment.

Don't be distracted by the weathered look and feel. The food was amazing! We took friends 3 nights in a row for the mussels and shrimp tacos. The service is very friendly, as well! Personally, I like a place with a little character.
