Breakfast stop

We ate breakfast here our last day coming from Sanibel island. Wow!! The potatoes were fresh sliced and fried. Big fluffy pancakes and great eggs and bacon.

We spent a great week at Ft. Myers beach recently in early May. Restaurants are plentiful from A to Z, with all having the proverbial " Fresh Grouper ". Which we did find them to be very good and fresh, but seafood being plentiful it did become somewhat redundant. This is where this little gem of a restaurant that features... More

I just ordered a typical egg breakfast and it was blah with typical wheat toast out of a package. Maybe lunch would have been a better choice.

We stopped in for lunch the other day and although I normally order German food, this particular day I was in the mood for a cheeseburger. Now let me tell you that I am a cheeseburger connoisseur. Also, I can tell you that I am half German and have ordered pretty much everything on the menu. One other thing, this... More

for the second year in a row we returned to Heidi's twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Great home cooked German Dishes. Heidi & Axel are the nicest people. So accommodating and helpful at recommending their "specials". The pastries are also homemade and so good! Great experience once again. If you like German food, this is the place to eat!!

What a great little place. Everything was fresh and delicious. The perfect amount of breading and gravy. We loved the jaeger schnitzel with spaetzle! The owner was incredibly sweet, helpful and attentive. Don't forget to save room because the bakery case was filled with delicious home made cakes and strudel! A must try!

As a German native, I was extremely impressed by Heidi's food. It was absolutely delicious and by far my favorite restaurant. The Jaegerschnitzel is my favorite and I've also tried several other dishes that my friends ordered, which were absolutely outstanding. Service was extremely friendly and Heidi introduced herself and made us feel extra welcome. Keep doing what you're doing... More

After several trips to Ft. Myers Beach we finally decided to try this restaurant. We ordered the special which was the XXL Schnitzel, and my husband ordered the Ruben. The schnitzel was good, and the fries were just ok. My husbands ruben was average and a bit greasy. This was definite home cooking minus the fries, but we didn't feel... More

While visiting Cape Coral we had a taste for German food and went to TripAdvisor.com to locate a restaurant. Because of the reviews we decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed. We called the restaurant and made reservations for the two of us. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the owner made us feel like we had come... More
