We have been coming to the island for years and were surprised to hear there was a German resturant right here on the beach. Place was immaculate, staff very friendly (we were served by the chef's mom) and food quite delicious. Heidi's is right across the street from the Red Coconut RV resort. If you didn't know it was there,... More

Found Heidi's on trip advisor & we decided to try it - so glad we did. We all ordered different varieties of the schnitzel - everyone loved what they had. My Jaeger schnitzel was very lightly breaded with a mushroom cream sauce - it was light tasting - not heavy or greasy the way some schnitzel can be. The Gypsy... More

Loved this restaurant . We went twice in our 5 day stay in the area, but I wish we could have gone more often. Loved the house salad and dressing , good selection of dishes to meet the tastes of anyone, excellent schnitzel. Apples within a fried donut ( we added a la mode) is without a doubt the most... More

The owner, Axel, has brought his German cuisine straight from his homeland. We have had the pork hock and several versions of the wienerschnitzel and found them to be outstanding. We would highly recommend the restaurant.

We had an opportunity to review a menu before we went for lunch and were impressed with the selection of German foods. Donna our server was amazing with her recommendations of what to try, needless to say we were not disappointed at all!!! We haven't tasted schnitzel that good since we left Canada... I would highly recommend you make the... More

We were lucky to find out about the First Sunday evening buffet seating at 5 PM or 7 PM with reservations recommended. All six of us enjoyed our meal including salad & dessert! We could not resist purchasing some lovely German baked goods to go!

Celebrated Dad's special day with our daughter and his sister and enjoyed a delicious meal of potato pancakes, schnitzels and beef goulash soup. They specialize in delicious German pastries but we not hungry enough to enjoy the beautiful variety offered!! A Sunday buffet is offered on the first of the month for $19.95 Very clean and tastefully decorated. Great service!

Living in paradise means you need to expect less in the way of eating. There is very little food diversity on the island and when something comes along you learn not to expect too much. So we went to the German Restaurant in a very strange location and we were surprised. The restaurant itself is clean, cute and the food... More
