Two of us went to Ft Myers beach on a Monday & wanted to grab a quick breakfast. Unfortunately The Heavenly Biscuit & almost every other restaurant was closed on Mondays except The Tuckaway Café. Being close to closing time the selection of bagels was slim but we both found bagels we wanted, They happily accommodated Nancy (vegetarian) request for... More

This unassuming little place offers unexpected gourmet treats for breakfast and lunch. I had never heard of Liege (pronounced "lee-AJH") waffles before (I guess "wafer" is the Dutch spelling), but the woman behind the counter explained everything about them before we ordered. They make them right at the counter and are rather small but deceptively filling. They don't serve them... More

Best bagel I ever ate! Wow! Very unique. Enjoyed the decor, outside seating, etc.... Good coffee, too. Will definitely return.

Wow! This place has the craziest steamed bagels I've ever eaten! Coming from Brooklyn and now living in Philly, this place tops the cake. This bagel was like eating a Philly cheesesteak. The egg and cheese just dripped down the bagel and funny to say, probably the best breakfast I've ever eaten. I would highly recommend this place as a... More

Went here for breakfast. We tried the bagels and quite honestly, not very good. Very slimy and juice running everywhere. Would have been much better is it wasn't so juiced and watery. It made it hard to eat and made the bagel drenched and slimy. Can't rate the waffles as we didn't have any. Service was good and good coffee.... More

Ran out of variety of bagels to choose from - but sandwich was still good. The only complaint was it was too pricey for just a bagel sandwich. Very nice proprietors - would go again if on vacation.

Cute little place with outside seating and a few tables inside. They have breakfast sandwiches on bagels and wafels. My wife doesn't eat grains so she had an eggs and cheese mixture that was good. I had a sausage egg on an onion bagel. Food was tasty. Sandwiches are steamed so a bit messy to eat. Instructions on how to... More

We have been there twice. To us, the wafel was pretty good, nothing out of this world. The second time, we had bagel sandwich which we both thought were very good. Seems a little pricey - two bagel sandwiches, coffee and smoothie was about $22 (if I remember correctly).

Let me start off by saying this little cafe is Amazing!! I am a huge waffle fanatic and a couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend drove by he told me about it and we just had to check it out. So we got our babies up and drove down to the beach for a Sunrise Breakfast. We were the first... More

We were in Ft. Myers Beach to parasail while staying on Sanibel Island. We had time to kill while waiting at Diamond Head Resort. We looked on our GPS for a place that had breakfast. Any place with the words Bagel and Wafel in the name sounds like a good fit. But actually it was the closest so that's why... More
