We dined here twice during our stay and both times the food and service exceeded our expectations. The prices are very reasonable. They let you get drinks and take them to the sidewalk outside while you wait for your table. they have live music at night to entertain you and the food is outstanding. We had the Grouper sandwich twice,... More

To start it's not a brewery. They do sell a beer that's supposedly made by Smokin' Oyster Brewery and it's pretty good. I try to stop by here every time I'm in Ft Myers Beach. The other reviewers are right. I've never had a bad bartender or server. I love their soup. They almost always have excellent grouper. The portions... More

Well to begin we had an awesome server, Paul, who was very friendly and informative. The food was amazing and came in a timely manner. Parking was cheap and they even jumped my car when I so stupidly left the battery running. Very thankful that we found a place with such great people and service.

of course all the best places to eat are jammed to the roof with spring breakers, so we thought we'd try SOB. The grouper came highly recommended, but is was average. The cole slaw was excellent. Brittany our waitress was great.

My wife and I stopped by for an Easter lunch. There are a few free parking spaces at the back of the building and since we arrived shortly before they opened, we got one. We had a coconut shrimp appetizer, an Ahi Tuna sandwich and a Grouper sandwich. All items were delicious including the dipping sauce for the shrimp. We... More

Just had a couple of beers (reasonable price) along with a dozen raw oysters. The oysters were completely tasteless -- worst ever. That may have been an anomaly for this restaurant, but I kinda doubt it. It had a tourist trap feeling kind of restaurant.

We like oysters however we didn't even order any this evening. The parking is nonexistent. We had to pay to park, the crowd was over the top. We waited over and hour. The food was OK. Nothing I would ever go back for.

After hearing MANY positive reviews of SOB, we made a point to stop in. If you're in the area, you should, too. We had raw oysters and fried grouper finger appetizers, which were very fresh. The mesquite grilled tuna was covered in crab and perfectly grilled to order, served with green beans that tasted like they had just been picked.... More
