Still good!

One of my favorite places. It is not on the menu anymore but they still make " Caribbean shrimp".... Spock shrimp in a sauce with garlic bread. Our server was Brittney...5 star service. I had wondered if the food and service would lack since they expanded and remodeled... Nope. It is worth standing... read more

Poor, far better places to spend your hard earned $$ in FMB. Not a "brewery", not on the beach, food is OK.....go anywhere else, you will be better off.

We were expecting a lot more from this experience considering the high rating on trip advisor. Service was okay. The place was very busy especially for a Monday night at 4 pm. And loud. Many people were waiting outside for 15-30 minutes before being seated. The food was terrible. We had the buffalo shrimp- flavorless. My husband had the grouper... More

We had a party of 11 and visited on a Friday evening so we expected a wait. They told us an hour but we were seated in two tables within 15 minutes . While we waited a server took the extra step of getting a chair for my wife who has a bad back and finds standing pretty difficult. That... More

First of all, remarks on the net that SOB is closed are not true. The place is open and definitely doing business. For me it was the first trip to Fort Myers Beach in years. The hotel had a page with local places and it was one of several recommended. This is casual as can be with an almost entirely... More

I don't understand how people got tables by just sitting down, we walked in and gave the bartender our name for a list to wait for a table. We ordered beers and waited about 2 minutes for a table. The guy that showed us to our seat was funny and nice, he gave us the menus and said the specials.... More

The chef's special of blackened mahi with lobster beurre blanc and "bonused" with 2 grilled shrimp was served with rice & green beans and was beyond spectacular and hands down the best meal we've ever had ANYWHERE!!! Gushing and boarding on embarrassing ourselves we got the opportunity to meet and thank chef Reid. They've carved a nice niche in this... More

After coming to FMB for over 20 years, we finally decided to try SOB's for a beach lunch. So glad we did! Our server was fantastic and his recommendations did not disappoint. Food came out quickly and was really tasty. We will definitely make SOBs a stop again next year.

We had wonderful service; the food was good and they had live entertainment. We went back a second night and sampled other items. Items we liked included: grouper sandwich, fish dip and oysters. They were reasonably priced.

Clam Chowdah to kill for! Prices that stretch your menu options, and best Oysters on the beach!!! Also an SOB tee shirt that generates many opportunities for newly acquainted dialog. The shirt really appeals to Red Sox Fans!!!
