The food was tasty, but as other reviewers said, the staff was rude. From the server pouring our water to the server, we were very surprised to have servers that were less than pleasant. We had been enjoying many other restaurants that had pleasant servers..the sour attitude was unfortunate....don't go.

Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The homemade rolls are the best around!! People had the oysters really liked them, they give you a total of 6 with two each of different types. The wine list was adequate and we did get a decent bottle for $24. While our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful, we did have to track... More

I am usually not very particular because I am a waiter myself. In this business, there are places that are great but killed by service. This particular restaurant seems to be like that. We enjoyed a nice Sauvignon Blanc on the outside seating this evening. Started off great. But this visit gradually went downhill. Our server was very rude and... More

Let's go with slow service, average food, above average noise and below average smiles on staff faces. Too many happy places to go.

My Dad and I have been coming to the BluePoint for years. It never fails to satisfy our need for great oysters, shrimp and flounder. Drinks are good too. Last night we had oysters, shrimp cocktail and of all things delicious brussel sprouts. We arrived in time for happy hour. The seafood was fresh too. The brussel sprouts are grilled... More

There were six of us, and it was the second visit for four of us. It was a cold evening and even though they sat us outside at first, when we asked we were given a booth inside. One couple had the Paella and said it was very good, my husband had the seafood pasta and he loved it. Another... More

My husband and I have been coming to Blue Pointe for years and we just love it! The service and food is excellent and has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. However, we have noticed that the last few times, something has changed. There has been an overbearing blonde woman; I can't tell if she is a manager or not... More

This is a seafood restaurant with class and classic dishes! The lobster bisque and salmon are the BEST!! We kept going back. I would suggest they do a little better with the lettuce wedge salad as it was not up to the standard of the rest of the dishes. White lettuce and small portions.

They had OK food, friendly reasonable service, and an OK menu, but they are pricey! An example off the menu is the Chilean Sea Bass. The Bone Fish Grill has an 8oz. fillet for $28 with 2 sides vs. the Blue Pointe Oyster Bar & Seafood Grille had it for $33 with I believe 1 side. I had a $12... More

Despite mediocre reviews we were happy with our drinks and food. We had the early special selection of oysters 12/$17 which were excellent. We had crusted sole and scallops as main both were nice. Outdoor patio was nice.
