No key lime in the key lime pie!

Wanted a piece of key lime pie. Googled for best key lime pie in fort Myers and it pulled up macgregor's. We were excited to try the pie when the waitress told us this pie is their specialty. Unfortunately, we don't agree. 3 of the 4of us ordered the key lime pie and the 4th ordered the pecan... read more

We stopped at McGregor's Café for breakfast on a warm sunny morning. They offer both inside and outside dining. We have tried their house made quiche, and other breakfast specials and have never been disappointed.

Every once in a while you find a place that you want to go back to over and over again. Well, this is one of them - the food is good, the prices are very fair, and you don't feel either rushed or part of the masses - as you so often to - in one of those large impersonal... More

Nice little café with outdoor seating on MacGregor Blvd. Service is a bit slow, but sandwiches are very good. Very good Reuben, for example. There are not a lot of choices in this area and this one is pretty good.

The queen of our house, Abby the cocker spaniel, dictates where we go quite often. The McGregor Cafe is just super if you have a dog. The dog is treated to a nice fresh dish of water & several treats.....there is a lot of tail wagging going on! As to her people, we really enjoy it as well. Been there... More

This cafe is quaint, busy and conveniently located. The staff and service is amazing. Food is of great quality, is fresh and light. It is too bad that the traffic noise is so loud from the street. They have done their absolute best to make the patio area as quiet as possible. The plants and trees are good and manage... More

I ordered eggplant , it tasted fishy, so I sent it back and asked for something else. I was informed" That I was still going to pay for the meal even though I took one bite and there is no seafood in eggplant." Yeah, that's why I sent it back ! Needless to say the manager ,Charles did not understand... More

Great food, fantastic service and reasonably priced. That is a great combination! It is fairly small place (so you may have to wait to get in) in an older part of Ft Myers but well worth a visit. The quiche of the day was amazing as was the tomato bisque soup and the Key lime pie was soon smooth and... More

We were quite impressed when we saw this cafe with its outdoor seating and old fashioned diner look and the servers were friendly. However I was disappointed by my menu choice. The Philly Cheesesteak did not live up to the real thing. It did not have the correct meat filling and had only a smattering of the basic ingredients -... More

Returned not once but twice this last trip to our very Favorite restaurant in Fort Myers. The specials sounded very good, but we just had to have our favorite dish. We were going to try something different, but why mess with success! The Lasagna is to die for! It is about 4" thick full of meat and covered in half... More
