The food was great and its a cool diner with loads of things to check out, my 2 yr old son loved it! Betty Boop was cute and the car on your left when you walked in was awesome.

The food is always great, especially breakfast. For Dinner they have a killer meatloaf and their ribs are great. The Fort Myers location is where I take the wife for Dinner and Bonita Springs is where I get my breakfast to go.

My family, friends and I stop here at least once a month. The staff is always friendly, the food is good and really big portions and the atmosphere is nice.

We had dinner here after a day at the beach. Very welcoming staff, retro diner look, large menu. Fried chicken dinner, Ruben & child's chicken fingers were all delicious. They have drink specials & I enjoyed the Margarita. This is a great place for a family meal. We all agreed that we would love to return.

I have learned that, in fact, breakfast can be screwed up, but not at Mel's! I went there recently and found it to be delightfully low-key -- servers don't rush you. I ordered the veggie omelet with Provolone and it was really delicious. My companion enjoyed his chicken enchiladas with mimosa as well. Wait staff is efficient and attentive without... More

My wife and I were spending a week in July at the Ft. Myers Howard Johnson's on Cleveland Ave across the street from Mel's Diner. We went to Mel's our second vacation day for a late breakfast. We asked for both breakfast and lunch menus to check out what they offered. I saw a meal for $15.00 for 2 small... More

The atmosphere is fantastic. Like and old 50's diner with lots of decor. Our lunch was very good. A large menu with lots of choices and very reasonable prices. Also happy hour prices on drinks all day. Service was excellent. Our server checked on us at least 4 times during our meal and the manager also came by the table... More

Whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place has it all. I don't mean a few choices, I'm talking about 3 menus that have so many things on them it might take a good 15 minutes to figure out what you want. Service has been good everytime we go, very friendly. It is set next to the La Quinta,... More

Mel's diner is a quite cute place. It's retro themed and the prices are more than fair. You can get all the typical American food and their really deliscious, especially for this price. last time we were there, party of 5, we pay only 60 bucks for 3 burgers, 4 fries, large wings, 5 drinks ( free refill with soft...
