First time eating here. Neat place. Full bar. Soups are all homemade. The Chowdah is good. Lobster bisque ok also. Lobster Roll was really good. Crab cakes just average. Calamari was also average. Nice change of pace. Service was a bit slow

If you're homesick for true New England good, make the journey to the Clam Bake. Owned by a family from home ego know the meaning of fresh fish. Fried clams and scallop combo was delicious. They even have a lazy lobster. Prices are a little higher, but they ship it in fresh so it's well with it. Portions are generous... More

We happened upon this restaurant by chance. It is in a plaza and toward the back of it, besides. Just happen to notice the sign so we stopped in. I am not sure how to rate this restaurant. Some of the sandwiches were more expensive than the lunch "specials". I ordered fried oysters, my husband had the fried clam strips.... More

Excellent food, Excellent service, just like it should be, just like being back in New England. Fresh food, warm atmosphere, friendly staff, owners on site who are devoted to what is going on. We will be back again and again!

We love the lobster rolls. They also do a good job with grilled fish. My parents love the fried clams (my dad who does not eat much at the age of 94 will always clear his plate here!) Although, we would like a better choice of vegetables we understand that this kind of fare goes well with slaw and baked... More

This place is where I take friends and family when visiting from out of town. SO good! Consistently. Try the Quahog appetizer. The version with sausage adds just the right spiciness. The steamed pot with clams, mussels, sausage and shrimp is my favorite dish. Sometimes I get it with lobster too. Always perfectly prepared. The clam chowder is also very good.... More

Went here for lunch. From the outside it doesn't look very big or anything special but once you get inside it's really nice. Nice tables and chairs, not all pushed together so you can hardly move but spaced nicely. Their lunch specials are 11.99 and include either clam chowder or salad and choice of one side. I ordered sea scallops... More

Many friends really like this place. Everyone swears about their Lobster Bisque. I am not a fan of it, but majority rules. I am spoiled by the Riverhouse in Savannah, GA and all others are compared to that. The fish is fresh and reasonably priced. I tried the clear chowdah (yes that is spelled correctly from their menu) which was... More

From the moment we walked into The Clam Bake we felt it was going to be a great experience. Mike, the Bartender greeted us with his Indiana twang & the most welcome personality you could imagine. Owners are from Rhode Island. The seafood menu nearly had us drooling all over the bar. Started off with fried clams. They were a... More

We had heard good things about The Clam Bake, but our neighbors were the ones who finally got us there. And we’re so happy they did! You will not find haute cuisine at The Clam Bake. What you will find is fresh, simply prepared and perfectly cooked seafood (and a few non-seafood offerings). Having grown up in central New Jersey,... More
