I didn't know food could have so much flavor! The soup was outstanding and the fish divine. Our 3 year old was so happy here. If you go, order a side of corn, Devine! We are used to 4-5 star restaurants and even though this might not look it, it's 5 star food!!!

This was our first time at the Clam Bake and surely will go back. The food and service was very good. I had the fried clams which were very good, cooked just right with a nice golden color to them. My wife had the broiled fish which she also enjoyed. The restaurant it self is quite large with a nice... More

I'm from New England and these are some of the best fried clams I've ever had..fresh,sweet and tender. The only thing I would ask of the chef is pleeeeeeease add more clams to the chowdah..it really is very weak..ting bits hardly visible to the naked eye...both times I've been this was my only complaint. When I go out for seafood I really... We were greeted by the owners and seated at one of the large tables as we had 60+ people in our group. Patrick explained this is one of the oldest restaurants in Ft Myers and gave us time to look over the menu while we had a beer. There is an extensive menu but we chose from the early dining... More

Not that great. We got the lobster rolls hoping for a good one. Unfortunately it didn't deliver. Mediocre at best. The lobster bisque was pretty good and so was the crab and corn chowder

This was our first time visiting the Clam Bake. We heard a lot about it and most people had favorable opinions. Went with two friends from New England. The atmosphere is casual, the service was fine, the food was good. I had broiled seafood and the others had various broiled seafood dishes. I don't know how to say this because... More

Tucked in the corner of a strip mall on the south side of 41 is an authentic New England seafood restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, and the inside is surprisingly large and roomy. Take your pick of New England favorites from fried Ipswich clams to Chowdah to mussels and steamers and... More

Last year we could not have enough of the Clam Bake. That was when they were in their smaller quaint locations. Well this year, we just got back from Fort Myers, and were totally disappointed in the Clam Bake and will never go back ! The restaurant is very nice and much larger but the food has deteriorated ! I... More

Had an excellent meal with great service. Fried whole belly clams and fried oysters were just like southern New England's. The Calamari with Banana Peppers. All the soups (Chowdah) 's are on the mark too!

We were seated 25 minutes after our reservation. Our food was slow to come. It was good New England seafood. Our order came out not exactly right but was quickly corrected. One thing I liked was when a drink was forgotten our waitress turned to one of the owners who was nearby & asked her to get it. The owner... More
