The Clambake Restaurant Ft. Myers Fla. In an attempt to avoid the harsh New England winters we spent some time in the warm friendly climate of south Florida during the cold months. The weather is wonderful and it’s enjoyable to have the warm sun and a tee time. However, after a while all the national chain restaurants seem to blend... More

We had supper with friends. They had been before and enjoyed it. We had scallops, grouper, broiled and fried seafood platters and the clam chowder as well. This was the best seafood I have had in a long time. Our server said it was flown-in fresh from New England. I also had a Narragansett beer which was on tap! Go... More

Ipswich Clams and Naragansett Beer on tap. Clams were great and the beer was cold. What's not to like? Clam Bake is much larger inside than you'd guess from the street. Tucked in a strip mall there's plenty of convenient parking. Decor is New England-ish. Clean and tidy. Many seafood items on the menu we associate with the Northeast...all we've... More

According to our server, Patrick, Clam Bake has been open for 31 years. The regulars must be keeping it to themselves because we had never heard of it. We went with a couple from Canada. Last meal together has they were headed home in the morning. In the end we all gave Clam Bake four thumbs up!. Much bigger room... More

Stopped in for lunch. Grew up fishing on the Cape. Two of us ordered the haddock fish and chips, one ordered baked haddock. Baked haddock was reasonably thick as you'd expect a haddock meal to be and appropriately flaky. Two fish and chops meals consisted of the smallest, flatters part of the tail. Exceptionally thin, so much so that the... More

We have been going to FMB for 15 years and never heard of the Clam Bake. But a friend had said they had gone to the Clam Bake Restaurant last night and had another wonderful meal for the fourth time this year. They said every time they go here it is the best seafood in the FM area. So they... More

Haven't had whole belly fried clams for so long. We were thinking of where to have lunch. I remembered I hadn't been here for awhile. Once, I started thinking of it there was no stopping us. Great Waitress, nice restaurant, and great food. Of course, the price was a little higher and the quality was just little less than Ipswich... More
