A Forgotten Favorite is Still a Favorite

It's been years since we have seen a Sweet Tomatoes because they seem to be a chain mostly in the south. It had been a favorite years ago. It is still the BEST salad bar plus. They make the best cream of mushroom soup too.

If you are looking for a fresh salad dinner or lunch-- Sweet Tomatoes is worth the visit. You seem to have all the sliced vegetables necessary for any salad you might want. There is homemade soups, hot bread and a hot pasta station. End dinner with a soft serve ice cream mix.

Sweet Tomatoes offers a great salad buffet, homemade soups, pastas, baked potatoes, freshly made breads and some desserts. It is a great place to come with family because everyone can get what they want. The salad buffet is interesting and very fresh and is myy favorite part of the visit. They offer some good breads and usually have a gluten... More

Well, since I'm not a vegetarian, it's difficult for me to appreciate what they offer. Which is ALWAYS the same....Never changed anything in years. Different types of salads, and the usual toppings (onions, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc...) dressings and beverages. Once you pay, you go to a booth and you can help yourself with a variety of soups. I get... More

We found Sweet Tomatoes in 2007 and literally have been coming back yearly from Ontario to enjoy this restaurant. The fresh salads especially Asian Wonton and Joan's Brocoli Madness have been my favorites from the beginning. I have to eat it weekly while we are here. I am so hooked on their products when we travel and choose a destination... More

Had dinner at Sweet Tomatoes. What you get is way worth your money. Good place to dine with friends. Huge salad bar, many different soups, and lots of other stuff, including desserts and beverages, all for under $12, senior discount gets it down to $10 plus tip. Can't beat it.

First off, we love ST. The food is great, you get as much as you want, and they don't rush you out the door. However, I wish something could be done about hygiene issues. Think about the crowd of people going down those lines, filling their plates. Now, think about all. Those. Tongs. Consider the fact that most people wash... More

We thought on this rainy day in Fort Myers we would go for a soup and salad lunch. We had never been to Sweet Tomato before and what a delightful surprise. We first encountered a very large salad bar with fresh vegetables and so many choices. After filling our plates we were escorted to a clean table in a quite... More

This is a place my grandchildren request to go to every time we are in Fort Myers. There is something for everyone . They have loads of salad makings along with mixtures of the house, 5-7 soups even some for the vegetarians in the group, pizza and flat breads, a variety of muffins hot and fresh, assorted fresh fruits, usually...
