My Husband & I just returned from a dinner at Captain Fishbones. This had been my 3rd time there and my Husband's 1st. We're from New Jersey/New York area so it's not a restaurant we're able to frequent but since my 1st visit there I've made it a point when we're here in Fort Meyers to make a trip to... More

Food was fantastic and so was the service. Had a club with sweet potato fries and my spouse had a burger. The drinks and shots we received were made well and the bartender was very pleasant and very helpful. Even kept our food refrigerated for us while we enjoyed the rest of the shell factory, animals, and mini golf. Great... More

Being born and raised in the middle of the desert (Arizona) I have a totally irrational fear of sharks and the front of the building was bad enough. I was TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY UNABLE TO ENTER THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR! So we used a side door. :) The wait staff was friendly and pretty fast. The food was reasonablly priced,... More

Yes, the food is good.... especially their fish specials. Before and/or after your meal you can do all kinds of neat stuff like a nature zoo, bumper boats, zip line, put put, or just get lost in their HUGE tourist shell Factory building with any type of souviner from A to Z!

When ginger ale from the soda fountain is unrecognizable it is time to run. Boiled hot dogs - generic frozen heated up fried stuff. Scary salad. I went because it was a business "have to" If there is a next time it won't include me.

My husband and I had a late lunch here after visiting a nearby attraction. We were seated promptly in an area of our request. Our server was prompt and attentive. We ordered a daily special which was fresh, fulfilling and very tasty. It wasn't a place I would have suggested and truly exceeded all my expectations. We walked over from... More

During our recent vacation, we returned to seafood restaurants we'd enjoyed in previous years, and only one of them rose in our estimation: Captain Fishbones at the Shell Factory. In fact, after we had fish at five different locations (including Pine Island, Punta Gorda, Ft. Myers Beach, and N. Ft. Myers), Mom and I agreed that the fish at Captain... More
