Ehhhh

We went last night based on recommendations and I just didn't care for it. 1/5 family members liked it. It could be just a different type of Mexican food than we are used to. The food just seemed bland. It's very expensive per dish too. The cheapest thing was $9.50 for 1 taco, enchilada or tamale... read more

I don't eat a lot of Mexican food, but I go here several times during the season. I love their margaritas and the food does not taste like it came out of the freezer. It can get busy, but that is part of the experience. You never leave here hungry. Service is generally good. Setting is old style Mexico, a... More

We were on our way to a different restaurant, but hunger took over and we stopped at Iguana Mia. The service was very good; our waitress was friendly, attentive, and never let our drinks get empty. Food was about what I expected, although menu was somewhat limited compared to other Mexican restaurants I've visited in the past.

The food here is cheap and quickly thrown together. The service is slightly below average they really don't know what's on there menu or what ingredients are in the dish you ask. The food is also under seasoned for being Mexican food. I wasn't impressed and don't enjoy coming to this particular one try at you own risk

I usually don't complain but I sat at the bar- alone for almost 10 minutes and then had to get up and ask the hostess if anyone was working the bar. This entire time servers were walking behind the bar to 'serve themselves' and no one even acknowledged me. When the bartender did come out I ordered a beer and... More

We ordered three chimichangas to go, and they were delicious. It was ready in 15 minutes and included a generous portion of chips, salsa and pico sauce. They offer a choice of regular re fried beans or black beans as well as Sonoran rice or regular Mexican rice, so you can really customize your sides. The chimis were hot, crisp... More

Friday,April 17th,dinner at Iguana Mia was excellent. Layered flavors of fresh ingredients. In the 14yrs of eating meals at Iguana Mia,I have NEVER had a poorly prepared meal at any of the three locations. Our waiter,Sean at the Cleveland/41 location ,was very attentive and knowable about the menu especially for the fact that my husband and I are still getting... More

It didn't take long to remember why we had not been there for many years. Loud and very noise and then they seated us next to the kitchen. You couldn't miss hearing the dropped dishes etc. Who ever heard of serving a Taco salad with runny black beans in it. Black or any beans should have been rinsed and well... More

I really enjoy their food, but the salsa is the best i have found in Fort Myers. They have 3 different heat levels, a mild which has a nice flavor and is chunky, my favorite is the Medium hot, but it is still plenty hot. I use this hot sauce on my food after it comes. I can eat this... More
