My husband and I visited the Prawnbroker restaurant while on vacation. We went out for a late dinner and were delightfully surprised. The wait staff was very friendly and prompt. We were seated right away. The restaurant was very clean. Nice atmosphere. The food was delicious. We both had crab stuffed shrimp which was delicious.

I was just driving around looking for a seafood restaurant that had a bunch of cars in the parking lot, when I saw The Pawnbroker Restaurant and Fish Market. I figured if they were a fish market the fish should be fresh and it was. I started with the Shrimp Bisque and it was a thick rich bisque with many... More

The Prawnbroker is a rock solid choice for dinner with friends or family, a date, or just a fun night out. Part of a larger (but not too large) restaurant group...thse people have the restaurant business figured out. First, they hire quality people and take good care of them. Our waitress has been with them for 28 years, yet still... More

Years ago we had enjoyed an affiliated restaurant on Marco Island. Tonight we were delighted to enjoy the same terrific fish and friendly service we remembered from Marco. I had what the menu accurately described as "very fresh" amberjack, and my wife had fried oysters. Both were totally delicious. We will be back.

We were driving by and we first thought it was a pawnbrokers shop, and when we looked closer saw it was The Prawnbroker. Ok so we are from out of town, and while by the coast why not do some seafood. None in our party of 4 was big on seafood, but what the heck we decided to go in.... More

Great quality and variety of food with great service. Most waiters/waitress have been with the restaurant format years and and very knowledgeable. The food is delicious and, so far, their quality has been very consistent and we have been very pleased overall. Highly recommend it. It's a gem!

Went to the bar side last night great to see some newer more polite faces ,that was a plus. Just reopened the $5 happy hour appetizers- wonderful deal! Oysters were huge!!Terrific cocktails, regulars are slightly intimating - but funny, food was extremely wonderful! Management/ hosts a bit ok the stern side- but other things make up for that. We will... More

This restaurant has been around for over 30 years (believe 1982) ... it is our favorite restaurant in Fort Myers - another great experience yesterday. Nice decor and very clean. We consistently find the food and service to be exceptional. Other tasty traditional menu items; however, you'll find terrific seafood menu options at a reasonable price - we sure have... More
