Description: You Can't Fake Fresh® - that's not just our tagline, it is the core value of the family owned and operated Pinchers Crab Shacks.Fresh is everything to a seafood restaurant, especially ours, and we try our best to deliver fresh seafood to your table each and every visit. Local fishermen and crabbers leave our shores daily and guide their boats out into the Gulf of Mexico to fish on behalf of Pinchers. They return each night with the best that the Gulf has to offer. They bring this precious catch to us and are one of the primary reasons for our success. In 2007, we purchased the Island Crab Company on Pine Island to serve as a fresh seafood facility for our restaurants. By having our own local facility, we can deliver fresh fish and shellfish to the table faster and fresher – whether its Grouper, Blue Crab, Stone Crab or some of the wonderful fish that you'll see highlighted as specials of the day.Local Fisherman fish Local Waters for a Local Restaurant. You can't get a more Southwest Florida experience than that, and that's what we mean when we say – You Can't Fake Fresh®.

We had the Grilled Shimp Dinner & Fried Shrimp Dinner, the food & service was great but there happy hour is not happy. The few drinks we had (two for one all day everyday) was more expensive than our two dinners were. We were disgusted about that. So ask the prices on drinks before you order (even beer) two for... Very pricy. Saw waitress drop a muscle, in shell, on the floor and put back on customers plate and eat a cracker over prep table. If you want to drink at the Tiki bar you're better off than eating there. My shrimp was over cooked añd it had a spicy spice around brim of plate that I did not like... More

I have eaten here several times over the years. We visited again early July and were disappointed. The hot crab and cheese dip appetizer was excellent but the small amount of chips with the dip was not. When we got our dinners we all looked at each other as if to say, "is that all??". The food was about average... More

Fun place to stop in for a bite to eat and two drinks. tables can be found in the sand on the beach and all drinks are 2 for 1. Food is average and priced accordingly. No real downside here unless you looking for something fancy.

This place ranks right up there with some of the worst seafood I've ever eaten. The only thing going for them was the french fries- if not for those I would still be hungry. My husband ordered the mahi-mahi sandwich- he said it was completely tasteless. The fruit that came with my daughter's hot dog was from a can- complete... More

If you've not been to Pinchers at the Marina by Edison/Ford homes on the Caloosahachee River, you are missing out. This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor (yes, there's an elevator) of the marina, with inside seating & an open-air, covered deck. You are overlooking the Caloosahache River & it so peaceful. Even with the summer heat, we've eaten... More

One of the very best in Fort Myers. And how is everything else? Above average - somewhere between 3 & 4 STARS. My wife & I have been here twice and both times we sat outside with a beautiful view of the mighty Caloosahatchie. For lunch my wife had the Shrimp and she was quite happy with it. I had... More

This Pincher's is nicely situated next to The Edison & Ford Estates, and is a lovely venue. The food, however, was nothing special. Corn & crabmeat chowder was disappointing, with plenty of corn, but little crabmeat. One thing that I did appreciate though, was having a choice of sides, and the green beans were nice and fresh.

The food is just ok. There are no combo platters of any kind on the menu! That is a deal breaker for me at a seafood place. Go to Joes Crabshack for good seafood and a good view. This place just has the view. AND the so called 2 for 1 drink special is a scam! We paid $6.99 for... More

Heard a lot about the new Pinchers in Fort Myers and decided to give it a try. The building is quite impressive from the outside. The view of the sunset on the river is breathtaking. But inside, it's Pinchers. The menu is the same as others,...good value and our service was good too. I use to always complain about the... More
