Description: You Can't Fake Fresh® - that's not just our tagline, it is the core value of the family owned and operated Pinchers Crab Shacks.Fresh is everything to a seafood restaurant, especially ours, and we try our best to deliver fresh seafood to your table each and every visit. Local fishermen and crabbers leave our shores daily and guide their boats out into the Gulf of Mexico to fish on behalf of Pinchers. They return each night with the best that the Gulf has to offer. They bring this precious catch to us and are one of the primary reasons for our success. In 2007, we purchased the Island Crab Company on Pine Island to serve as a fresh seafood facility for our restaurants. By having our own local facility, we can deliver fresh fish and shellfish to the table faster and fresher – whether its Grouper, Blue Crab, Stone Crab or some of the wonderful fish that you'll see highlighted as specials of the day.Local Fisherman fish Local Waters for a Local Restaurant. You can't get a more Southwest Florida experience than that, and that's what we mean when we say – You Can't Fake Fresh®.

The restaurant was not crowded and we (3 couples) were seated promptly. It was happy hour for house liquer drinks, house wine and draft beer. Food was OK. My husband's crab legs seemed "old" to him. Prices seem a little high for this more casual fish restaurant. If the food was more outstanding I would have rated this visit higher.... More

We had some difficulty finding this place with our navigation system. It got us close; but we couldn't see where it was. After asking some locals in the parking lot for directions, we finally found the place. I had the grilled shrimp that was some of the best I had. The help was great and extremely accommodating.

Stopped in for some oysters and crabs... Learned a new one.. they offer a happy hour 2 for 1.. well... all glassware is much smaller than a normal glass, so basically you are paying for 1 drink, getting 2 smaller ones equivalent to one drink. How's that working for you? This is not my cup of tea... the food is... More

Called into Pinchers Crab Shack for a spot of lunch while spending the day at Edison Ford Winter Estates in Ft Myers. The waterfront restaurant is a large open plan layout with a great view of the Caloosahatchee River on two sides… but that’s where the great stops. Service was so-so, and the food average in the extreme. My wife... More

We visited the restaurant first--eating inside. It is family friendly. Inside decor is typical for crab shack experience, casual dress. Noise level high with people at the bar and music. They were slow getting started on service but more attentive once orders were taken except the bar was very slow on second round (almost at the end of the meal....... More

So glad we were recommended this restaurant during our visit to the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. The views are stunning as the restaurant is set on a beautiful huge lake and you can see for miles. We arrived around 4pm and had a lovely glass of wine and watched the sunset casting a glow over the lake. The food... More

We ate here on New Year's Eve (early) and really enjoyed the meal. We got there early and had a seat on the deck overlooking the harbor--very nice touch. The restaurant is very casual, which surprised us because it looked like it might be more upscale. The restaurant is upstairs--reachable by elevators or by stairs so it is handicap accessible... Ate here on a Saturday night and the food was delicious. The only complaint I would make is that they should make it clear on the menu that the Stone Crab Claws are served cold and not as a warm meal. They still tasted great but I was expecting a warm dinner as a Stone Crab Claw newbie. Had a... More

Had the fried shrimp dinner...it was good. Hubby had the grouper...it too was good. Just not GREAT like at other local places. So not a bad place, just not as good as others. Great service though.
