I have been eating at this restaurant since it opened. I find the food excellent, service excellent and the best burgers around served with homemade potato chips. They have various burgers and I find that they are some of the best burgers I have EVER had. I am from the Chicago area where the food is a 10. I find... More

I called this place and got a recorded message that they were open and hours of operation. So I drove all the way over there. On the door was a hand-written note--closed. If these people are so inconsiderate to fail to update their answering machine, how can they get good ratings?

Kenwood Lane Grille does apologize that you drove all the way to us for dinner. Being a small mom and pop business (where the owners are the principle workers) it is always a difficult decision to close due to the loss of revenue. But in the interest of public safety our decision was to do so because of an illness... More

Loved the burgers (especially the one topped with pork), you can tell they are very fresh and tasty. Fresh warm chips also awesome. The sandwich baguette bread is great, and the ingredients very fresh, but believe it or not, I would only complain that they put too much meat in them (imo). Of course you can just take some out... I've lived here for many years and wasn't familiar with this restaurant until Trip Advisor. I may have passed by it, but from the street, it's not a place I'd walk into. The ambiance is very comfortable. It's nothing fancy, but has a good feel. The staff is tremendous and all the servers work together, so you're not limited to... More

Stopped for lunch. Crab cake sandwich is excellent. Margarita burger is best I've had in years. (66) Topped with fresh mozzarella, basil leaves, tomatoes and a home made sauce. Cooked to juicy perfection and served with fresh home made chips. That was so good, we went back for dinner. Macadamia crusted mahi-mahi is delicious. Stuffed shrimp is top notch. Do... More

We are disappointed to hear that you had such a bad experience with us. Here at Kenwood Lane Grille we strive to excel in the culinary arts and hospitality. During season and peak serving hours our wait time can be extended, but three hours? It is unfortunate that your dissatisfaction was not brought to our attention at the time of... More

Actually, nice is an appropriate word for the atmosphere and the wait staff at Kenwood Lane Grille. As I am sure others have pointed out, it's tucked away and a bit hard to find if you're not a local, but worth the GPS effort. During a winter get away from the cold two weeks in Ft. Myers Beach, we came... More

We have now been twice - once based on a recommendation that paid off very well. Excellent food, prepared with attention to detail. The Chef (and a real Chef, not a so called chef....as so many play the role but fail to fill it....) has prepared on both visits simply wonderful dishes (Me: Pork tenderloin with applesauce with potato pancakes... I arrived right at the stroke of 8 (when the doors are literally locked) and was fortunate enough to be the last diner the chef accepted for the evening. Had a caprese salad beautifully presented with roasted red peppers along with the tomatoes and mozarella, and was blown away by how good it was. Then on to the Chicken Francese... More
