I hoped this place would be awesome since I love hole-in-the-wall restaurants and Mexican food. It was not good. First, everything is overpriced - even the soup, one of which was $9.50 for a bowl. We ordered in spite of this, but realized our mistake when the food arrived. The quesadillas looked like fat tacos and had no taste, except... More

This is a bustling restaurant with reason to be! I make it a must eat destination whenever I am in the Ft. Myers area. This place usually has a parking lot full of cars. I love Mexican food and I think this is the best around. My husband and friends tend to agree with me. The service is fast and... More

We LOVE good Mexican food and had such high hopes here. Our server was so busy with a big table that she kept forgetting us and when our orders arrived they were cold, soggy and not tasty or appetizing. We've tried this one twice and both times it disappointed. Maybe third time will be the magic number.

Stopped this past Tuesday and had some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long while. Add to that truly friendly and fast service and it made for a wonderful meal.

Table of the four (4) of us, meals and 1-1/2 rounds of drinks= less than $100+ tip. Cannot beat the price Mexican décor, excellent home made food. I would highly recommend this Mexican Canteen-restaurant in a heart beat to locals and tourists to SW Florida.

It's changed owners a couple of times but we still enjoy the food and the intimacy of the place. The one thing that always stands out is the hospitality of the staff, they are extremely attentive, caring and take a genuine interest that you're enjoying your meal. We love the Margherita's! Ok house wine. Pork 'carnitas' is always great! It's... More

Not only was the place frigid, but the food was cold too!! I didn't see any signs of steam coming off any other plates being delivered either. Maybe just order dessert to play it safe

Food is good but nothing special for the price. Overpriced for Mexican food. Portions are adequate to large but the inside was COLD. Everyone, men included had on a sweater or were rubbing their arms. We ate fast and left to warm up. We've eaten there before as 2 blks from home but our reaction was the same. Food ok,... More

We have been through the ups and downs at this place. We were just there and they are on the upswing. The place is not fancy but nice. Service was fair and we went early knowing how busy they can be. I LOVE their Chipotle Shrimp Soup-spicy but fresh and tasty. The Sangria was just OK- sweet without any fruit.... More

I love the chicken nachos, an appetizer but more then enough for my dinner, normally i do take out because it does have a small dining space and theirs normally kids, and the service i a little slow. Great food, decent pricing, and they let me practice a little spanish! Place is a little tacky
