Had a wonderful time with five other ladies. Several of us ordered the Country Fried Steak. It was huge...it overlapped the plate, and tasted delicious!! Some of the others ordered the meatloaf, and enjoyed that as well. The sides were wonderful!! I had the Sweet Potato Souffle, and it was fantastic. I got 2 sides with my meal, and might... More

Went to lunch here a few weeks ago. I had the catfish, coleslaw and collards. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich and green beans. We also devoured the fried green tomatoes. I love fried green tomatoes and I think these are the best I have ever had. Everything was wonderful. The portions were a very nice size. I returned the... More

Girls night out, the main course was great, plenty of good, Collards were canned and canned sweet potatoes in the casserole but I am sure passable to some pallets. Shrimp & grits, Chicken and Waffles and Crabcakes all get a 10+ as well as the fried grits and friend green tomatoes. A bit put off at first by the cooks... More

This place is tucked away and worth finding. Great food with ample portions. Has a dining side and bar side. Not a large place but bigger than I thought looking from outside. The waiter was pleasant and helpful. I would go again.

This was our 2nd visit to Fancy's and we took friends to it after a pleasant first visit. The experience of the five of us border on terrible and we shall not return. Sunday, March 23rd at about 8 PM was our time. Service was surly at best. Three of us had to return portions of our dinners since they... More

Met my college roomie, who lives in the area and scopes good places, for dinner last night. A pleasant surprise and such a relief from the "seasonal" crowds on the islands here. Upscale bar with good draft beer and nice California wines. Fried green tomatoes as appetizer and, my fave, shrimp and grits as entree. Hubby had fried chicken, very... More

This place is super. Deviled eggs for app are great. Ettoufee is like being in NOLA. Chicken n waffles are out of this world. At lunch the meatloaf sandwich rocks. The portions are huge so be prepared.

We would never had known about this place if my friend hadn't recommended it. We are so glad we went! The decor alone is amazing. There's something to look at everywhere you turn. The service was really some of the best. Our waiter was there when we wanted him but not overly attentive. The food was really spectacular. We had... More

We had heard they added a bar where the old Meatballs Deli was located next door. We walked in around 7:30 the bar was basically empty. We asked if we could eat at the bar and the bartender told us we could only order appetizers. We asked to see the menu he gave us the regular Fancy's menu and proceeded... More

My wife and I took my brother to Fancy's because my neice, Summer, was working as the hostess. Summer told us the restaurant food was excellent - and it was! My Ettoufee soup was delicious. The catfish was light, tasty, and excellently prepared. The shrimp and grits my wife had was a great treat. But my brother said the chicken... More
