Nice menu, position and staff

My wife and I had lunch here recently. I wanted the Quiche Lorraine but unfortunately they had just served the last portion. I settled for the garden quiche which although good was my second choice. My wife had the BLT which she thought was very good. She had asked for the bacon to be well done and... read more

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on Saturday after the ArtFest. No hostess and the wait staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed. We were finally told it would be a 45 min. wait for lunch. The place seemed totally unorganized. We found 2 open seats at the bar..Bartender was a nice kid who was trying hard to keep up... More

The food was average but the service was absolutely rediculously slow. We visited on the Saturday of the Fort Myers art show in the early afternoon. The owners should have been prepared for an above average weekend crowd but apparently missed the memo. It took 15 minutes just to get a menu. The food (two sandwiches which did not require... More

We were two couples. One had New England style clam chowder and loved it. Another, a salad with pears, lettuce cranberries and nuts, and it was fine. A third chose the BLT, and it was ordinary. I had the Happy Cow, minus the cheese and mayo as I eat vegan. (Portobella mushroom, roasted red pepper and onion). It was quite... More

Going from a Cafe to an Ale House has been a growing experience. While still maintaining a wonderful menu with consistently delicious selections, the United has been transitioning to a British Ale House. The staff of Andy, Adrie, Andre, Antoine, Kim, Lyndsey, and Anna have maintained excellent service in a difficult renovation of the Cafe. Whether it is breakfast or... More

This is one of my favorite local spots. I always get to see some of my favorite friends and they always have the nicest staff working there. Outside seating is kept clean . Love the new guy Andre who just started . He is all smiles and you can tell he loves working there. Good prices and delicious food

If you want good English food, a cup of tea, a pint of beer or even wifi go here. The owner Andy makes you so welcome. Every time in Ft Myers I always frequent this superb restaurant, cafe and bar.

I don't know how the lunch or dinner is at United Cafe & Bistro, but breakfast was very good. My husband had the traditional British breakfast and enjoyed it a great deal, particularly the sausages like the ones he had while we were in Europe last year. Everything was fresh and their coffee was great. Service was very good. When... More

Friendly greeting from Amanda our waitress and other staff. Decided to stop for a light lunch. The Coronation Chicken was the choice of the day. A delightful mix of chicken, and curry seasoning. Delicious!

We were just here overnight and asked for a breakfast recc at hotel front desk. Wanted something in walking distance. Desk clerk immediately said United Cafe. We later checked out the reviews on TripAdvisor and, while the negatives were outnumbered by pleased diners, there was a distinct pattern in the 1 and 2 star reviews. Shoulda listened to them! My...
