Not Much Around For Peruvian - Love This Place

I happen to love Peruvian food and this is one of the best I have found. I am from New Jersey and there are no good Peruvian restaurants here. But we have found good ones in California and now in Florida. The plus side to El Gaucho is, there are some dishes with a heavy Italian influence. But... read more

Very good food, service was excellent, just stopped for lunch and was surprised by everything, comfortable decor and interesting dishes. Will be going back soon.

El Gaucho Inca is located in a rather nondescript shopping mall. It did not help matters that on the evening we visited the parking lot was being repaved and the smell of asphalt was in the air. But the minute we opened the door we knew we had come to the right place. We received a warm welcome and entered... More

My husband and I decided to avoid the crowds of Valentine's day and celebrate on Sunday, Feb.15th. We had read that El Gaucho Inca was worth the try. We arrived and it was not very busy. We were told we would have a wait of about 15 min. We were fine with the wait time. A few minutes later, the... More

Thank you for your honest comments regarding your experience at El Gaucho Inca Restaurant. Last Sunday my husband was sick and we were not at the restaurant and thanks to you we realize that not always my employees do the best as we require for our customers. As you can see from the many past posts on Trip Advisor, we... More

This is a great choice for seafood and steak lovers who are looking for something different. There are three types of ethnic dishes here - Peruvian, Brazilian and a small part Italian. We both ordered seafood dishes which were excellent, fresh, and ample portions. The plaintains were the BEST WE'VE EVER HAD...we each ordered them as a side to our... More

Well I was in a carnivore mood. I needed MEAT. Beef to be exact. I had been eyeing El Gaucho Inca Restaurant for the pass years or so. So ....I made the 10 mile trip and gave it a try. As most eateries in SWFL it was in a small mall. I got there at lunch time but I needed... More

One of the best dinners we've had in a very long time. Decent location, extremely helpful and pleasant wait staff and the food...awesome! If we are ever back in this part of Ft. Myers, we'll definitely return!

Great day. Lunch with the girls then dinner at El Gaucho with hubby. Second time here for me and still love it. The menu selections are remarkable and almost too difficult to choose from. We had a chicken empanada to start. Delicious. The bread and green sauce are also great. My dinner was a Peruvian selection of fried rice and... More

Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in the town. I ate pescado a lo macho, and it was delicious. The service was outstanding (ask for Alejandro), and the place takes you beautifully away to Argentina and Peru. Highly recommended!!!!
