First off, let's reiterate that it's a Peruvian/Latino cuisine. Don't go there for steak. But if you want a tasteful treat from our southern neighbors, this is your place. Our group of 8 ordered a variety of entrees...and all were delighted. This is truly one of Fort Myers' finer restaurants for food, atmosphere, and great service. My wife and I... More

My wife had a Peruvian mixed seafood dish that was very good. I had the chorizo with fried plantains. The chorizo was excellent however, the plantain was greasy and a bit undercooked. Our waiter, Ariel was excellent. Very knowledgeable, prompt, and pleasant.

My husband and I had dinner tonight at El Gaucho Inca this evening - had their steak special. Both steaks were tough and greasy. New York Strip Loin and Top Sirloin Corner - both with homemade chimichurri sauce. The chimichurri sauce is wonderful - and they recommend you pour it on your steak. The vegetables are greasy peppers and mushrooms.... More

I had what was supposed to be a New York Strip steak. What I got was nothing like a NYS steak. That is the cut of beef that I usually order or eat at home so I know that cut very well. On the side I requested the grilled vegetables. The vegetables were mainly made up of canned mushrooms and... More

Went with a large party of 18. Most people had steaks. This place has a nice selection of steaks. Though then had run out of some of the cuts. I had move down to the 3rd choice on my list, the skirt steak. It was tasty though, cooked to perfection. Others had the Filet ( which I tried and was... More

This was our first time here and the menu had many selections , some items are unfamiliar because it is Argentinian and Peruvian food .we selected a Calamari appetizer and a chicken appetizer . Both were piping hot and fresh . Our entree were two different rice dishes ,again very good and different . Loaded with either seafood or chicken... More

I have eaten here four times now, and service is great. I think the owners are from Peru but they have some great Argentine good also. The portions are a little small for the price but such friendly servers, you can't go wrong. Loved my empanadas and next time I will try the barbecue.

Our waiter recommended a Brazilian cut of meat (Picanha) which was more tender than a filet mignon and less expensive. It was delicious as was my husband's steak (he liked mine better :-) ) A bit noisey with young children running around. This is our third time here. I would only warn patrons to carefully look over their credit card invoices.... More
