We stopped in to this restaurant for a Saturday night dinner. We ordered the house wine, a cheesy scallop appetizer and a couple of the Peruvian specialties. Although it was hard to pick between all the great options, everything we ordered was delicious!

We went there for dinner on Argentine Independence Day, the place is very nicely decorated and the waitresses were wearing Argentine jerseys. We were seated promptly. When it came the time to order it was very disappointed to know that several items in the menu were not available -such as chicken empanada, provoleta and skirt steak-. We ordered chorizo (Argentine... More

I wish they had been as good as I wanted. II'm a Spanish teacher and have travelled to many countries, so I thought this was intriguing in the middle of Fort Myers. Plus, there were italian and meat options for the varied foodies I was with. Decor is spot on authentic, but when we tried to order several items, they... More

Had lunch with two other people. I have dined at Inca's Kitchen in Naples, and Martin Fierro Steakhouse. Both are excellent. El Gaucho was a total disappointment. Wait staff seemed to be annoyed when we entered restaurant. They spent most of the time watching soccer game on TV by bar area. Ordered ceviche which was hard as a rock, did... More

The restaurant is very nice and the decoration is very authentic. Lunch menu is very reasonable and very good. If you like Peruvian or Argentinian this is your place.

we dined out on a thursday evening around 7. Immediately upon walking into the warm, authentic Spanish atmosphere we were met by friendly Mario who sat us promptly. He took care of us through our entire meal, making wonderful suggestions and providing attentive service. I enjoyed the Picante de Mariscos/Fish Fillet with spicy creamy Seafood served with rice. Phenomanal! There... More
