Wife and I finally stopped and ate there tonight. I had the Schweinebraten, excellent meal, meat was tender, red cabbage was fantastic, and the dumpling.. just delicious... My wife had the Chicken Cordon Bleu which was the best she and I have had in a very long time. Generous portions, great and friendly staff, can't wait to eat there again... More

My husband and I stopped recently for dinner. The service was very good, our server was pleasant, attentive and helpful. My husband had the Sauerbraten and was happy to finally find a tasty sauerbraten with tender meat and nice flavor. I had the Jagerschnitzel, also excellent. Both were served with nicely seasoned red cabbage and authentic spaetzel. Potato Pancakes as... More

This restaurant is on the way towards Fort Myers Beach on Old McGregor Road. Well decorated interior. Great service and food. We ordered Sauerbraten & Schweinebraten, liver dumpling soup & apple struedel. Large, tasty liver dumplings in a flavorful broth. Entrees were tender, served with the appropriate gravy/sauce, dumpling and sauerkraut or red cabbage. Delicious! The apple struedel was a... More

Bratwurst house is good for a couple of boots of Paulaner beer and a rollmop or two. The nurnberg wursts are okay also but I wouldnt eat a full meal here. There are better authentic German restaurants in Fort Myers were there is more emphasis on quality. Every time we go, one of the owners always seems immersed in checking... More

We dined here on a Saturday night, it was fairly slow at 8pm, only a few tables. We started with a few apps. The potato pancakes came out really quick...and they were rubbery, almost as if they were microwaved too long. My overall impression is that the food is made ahead of time in batches and reheated. The sauces were... More

We visited this restaurant with an open mind as the reviews were mixed, but left with very positive reviews of our own. We all were very pleased with our dinners and between us we had sauerbraten, schweinbraten, jaeger schnitzel, cordon blue schnitzel, and beef goulash. The service was good, the food piping hot, and everything tasted fresh and well seasoned.... More

We have eaten here on past trips to Fort Myers and were looking forward to a German meal. I have to say we were very disappointed and would not return. The new owner sat us and explained that they were in the process of making their changes so we would have to wait for a menu until one was available??... More

I stopped in to this wonderful restaurant tonight. The decor is charming without being overbearing. The tables and floors spotless, and plenty of space to breath. Our waitress was kind and suggested the bratwurst. We ordered the schnitzel bites ($5) and the bratwurst dinner ($10). The schnitzel bites were hot and delicious! I would recommend asking for the mushroom gravy... More
