Good First Visit

I have wanted for quite some time to try Austrian-German and tonight was the night. We arrived a little early for dinner and was a little surprised to be told that they didn't have a table for two and we likely would have to dine outside. Well at 95 plus degrees, I didn't think that was going to... read more

Last night 6 of us dined here, all of us visiting many times over the years. The food is never disappointing and the wait staff is excellent. We recently learned that a "duck feast" could be arranged by ordering in advance and having a minimum of 6 diners at a very reasonable $27.00 per person. We understand a wild boar... More

My husband and I met another couple for dinner at the Austrian-German Restaurant last week. We all started our dinner with Liver Dumpling Soup---marvelous!! The taste is so good, it is indescribable. I ordered the sauerbraten which was extremely tender and flavorful. It was served with red cabbage and spaetzle. Both excellent. My husband had a hunter's style Weiner Schnitzle... More

This out-of-the-way place serves very good German dishes, but has only one cook & one waiter. The food is quite good & worth the wait for it to be cooked right. However, don't go if you're a business luncher or have an early afternoon appointment, as it'll take you more than an hour to finish your dining.

My first experience eating German food was absolutely "fantastisch" (that's fantastic in German). The food is delish, the prices are fair, and the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very European, very charming and the restaurant is nestled away in the back of the Royal Palm Square. We had the pleasure of having dinner with a German... More

I've never went to a German Resturaunt before and this was a great experience. The German beers on tap were great. I got the hunter schnitzel. I thought schnitzel was like a sausage but what I got was a fried piece of pork. It was very good. The mango dessert was great as well. To top it all off the... More

Great austrian-german gourmet food, Helga and Helmut (owners) are very friendly and eager to please everyone. A must to do their Beer Garden Festival when they have them - fantastic value and so much food and music . Beer and Wine is offered. Great struseal and cakes.

Wow! What a great meal we had at this restaurant yesterday! I took my Dad there for Father's day! They are closed on Sundays so we went on Monday. I had a reservation which was recommended when I called to inquire. Our server Chris was outstanding! There was not any other customers in there when we first arrived so he... More

My wife and I had a truly wonderful dinner here last Tuesday. Being of German heritage, having worked for years for a German firm, and having lived for many years in a German neighborhood in Queens we know, and appreciate, good Austrian-German food. You would be hard pressed to find more authentic, well prepared, delicious, high quality offerings unless you... More
