Back again

Back in town again this year and our first dining out trip was to visit Helga and Helmut. As with every other visit we were not disappointed. The food, service and quality were exemplary. Looking forward to more visits before we leave the area in April.

If you like good German style food you will enjoy this restaurant. Although we had a reservation the staff seemed overwhelmed although they were quite friendly. Wine list needs attention.

My local friends and reviews here all rave about this restaurant. I just don't get it. Vegetable soup and dumpling soup OK., However all the schnitzel (pork and veal) were deep fried and not sauteed, as well as the potato pancakes making them greasy and very heavy on your stomach. One of our diners had roast pork, probably the way... More

All Schnitzels are fried in the pan and not in a deep fryer ! What you mean is something different, what you might have seen somewhere, but it is certainly not German what you want. When some parts are excellent and others in your opinion not, then all can not be average. We are told many times we are under... More

I went to the Austrian-German Restaurant January 2016 for lunch. We arrived without reservations just before noon. We were among the first patrons of the day. We were promptly greeted by a welcoming hostess who offered indoor or covered patio seating. We chose the patio with its' pleasing fountains and terrarium feel. We were offered a Lunch Menu and found... More

Visited with my Austrian friend in search of authenticity and struck gold. This place is amazing. The schnitzel is outstanding (my favorite is the Black Forest ). Our servers were very friendly and prompt. Chef/owner Helmut was engaging and gracious. I can't wait to return. Definitely save room for the strudel!

Our biggest problem was our GPS didn't give good directions. Keep looking it is on an interior courtyard. We ate inside as it was a chilly evening but they have outside dinning as well. As we waited we could hear them pounding the schnitzel. Save room for the strudel.

We were a bit disappointed with our visit to this restaurant as we had seen the reviews on Tripadvisor and had our hopes set on having a nice meal. The bread was dry and fell to pieces when you tried to put butter on it. The snitzel was fairly bland like it lacked all seasoning. We left the restaurant feeling... More

This place is a hidden gem! I had the Schnitzel stuffed with sour kraut and bratwurst. It was a good sized portion, breaded and fried perfectly! My wife enjoyed the Schnitzel stuffed with Brie cheese, and walnuts, with cranberry sauce. My daughter had the Italian version with prosciutto, provolone, and pesto. I had mine with spätzle, which was nice an... More

Located in an atrium area in the palms shopping center just east of Broadway Palms Dinner Theater. All homemade fresh food prepared right there. We went for lunch which is much more reasonable in price than dinner. I had the schnitzel and spatscle (spelled wrong) which was very good and my husband had the goulash which was different from any... More
