Authentic German food

You see them fixing your meal, from scratch, in the kitchen. It is as authentic as you can get without traveling to Germany. Be sure to save room for the strudel, made daily.

The food was authentic and delicious. Large portions, had the leftovers for breakfast and was still wonderful. If hankering for German food this will satisfy.

Despite the restaurant being difficult to find (we had an old brochure which listed the wrong street) a call to the establishment put us on the right track and we're very glad we found the place. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. We visited at lunch and the menu was some what limited,... More

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, consistency from course to course and item within our party. Service was wonderful, owner very friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting to experience authentic German/Austrian food. Thank you!

I'm from Germany and been to many upscale restaurants around the world. The service is outstanding and all employees are very committed. They provide high quality and very fresh authentic German and Austrian meals but also international cuisine. Great and quiet location. Prices are reasonable. Try the apple Strudel and Black Forest Schnitzel!

If I hadn't read the TA reviews, we never would have known or seen this place. If you're driving from 75, on Colonial, as soon as you see Summerset Blvd., get into the left lane and take a left turn. If you don't, you go over a bridge and have to pay a $2.00 toll. Look for The Royal Palm... More

The Austrian-German Restaurant is in the center of an older open mall, in a small, stand-alone building that might have originally been a fast-food enterprise, in the middle of an interior courtyard within that mall. It's a great location for the "fests" that they host each month, since there's plenty of room for crowds to enjoy the music presented. The... More

I am from Austria, and one of the number one things I miss is the food from my home country! My family and I dine here as often as we can, and we enjoy the authentic and delicious meals Helga and Helmut provide with so much care and love. The atmosphere is wonderful, and we leave more than satisfied every... More

We had a most pleasant experience on our first visit to this restaurant. The weather was beautiful and the outdoor dining was a most relaxing way to enjoy the evening. The wait staff was excellent. We really enjoyed our dinner.

Just returned to my hotel room in Cape Coral after having a delicious dinner at this really great restaurant. My friend who grew up in the Bavarian area of Germany, and whom I am visiting had a taste for German food so we looked online and found this restaurant. Like some of the reviews, it was a bit tricky to... More
