The place was nearly empty at noon on a Friday during "season," which should have been the first tip-off. On the plus side, my group scored a prime table right by the window overlooking the water, and this restaurant is definitely all about the waterside view. We soon found the reason for the ghost town atmosphere: the over-priced food was... More

We visited Joe's Crab Shack in Fort Myers twice on our recent Florida vacation. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly & accommodating and the view was gorgeous! The crab nachos are a must try! Our 2nd visit was to take advantage of Joe's $2 Twosdays. Their delicious Category 5 Hurricane cocktail was only $2. as were plenty of... More

My husband and I ate here for the first time on our anniversary and we were very impressed. The waitress/bartender Charlie was awesome...very accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent and the portions are large and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be coming back to try the other selections on the menu!

The floor of the restaurant is bare concrete and felt a little slippery while walking. Probably from so many days of grease in the air. Food was decent but nothing special. Crab buckets were generous portions. It was a busy night so we didn't expect fast service, and the waitress was doing a good job.

Inconveniently located on a city back street adjacent to a small Marina, Joe's try's hard! Crowded on weekends, window seats overlooking the nasty waters of the Calahoochie River fill rapidly. Standard fried waterfront fare on the most part, there Lobster/Shell Fish "Pots" are the draw. Last go had the New Englander, 2 pound lobsters, a handful of small imported shrimp,... More

While visiting the Edison/Ford estates it was time to eat some lunch. We drove by this place on the way there and decided to give it a try. The workers were very nice and very accommodating, but when my fish and chips came with all the fried batter drippings, I almost sent it back, because I could not see the... More

The Seafood Steamed pot with the whole lobster is well worth it. Besides the lobster, there are shrimp, sausage, crabs, corn and potatoes. The only down side is that you always have a difficult time cracking open a whole lobster. This however, is a labor of love. The lobster is a good size. I needed my bib, the scrap bucket... More

We enjoyed our dinner here, but the price was pretty high for what we got. I suppose you're paying for the excellent view, but you can get that walking along the harbor. Service was good.

Waterfront restaurant in Southwest Florida with a twist of New Orleans seafood! Seafood Steamed pots are really delicious. The menu is huge and the choices of beers will surprise you. It was recommended to us by locals. After the nice experience (relaxed ambiance and smiling staff) we will recommend it too!
