We went with high expectations and were not disappointed.

There’s always a little concern that a restaurant you’ve heard so many good things about will not live up the hype. We had heard good things about Cibo and after eating there I’d have to say that I agree – it’s a great Italian cuisine. No, that’s not fair – it’s a just a great restaurant regardless... read more

Our waiter was pleasant and efficient, and the food very good. My wife loved her veal scaloppini and my spaghetti bolognese was also very good, a huge portion with lots of spicy Italian sausage. I simply cannot give this restaurant four stars as an overall rating, however, for the following reasons. Pictures on line for the restaurant showed tables with... More

After reading reviews on TA we decided to come to CIBO for my birthday celebration. The food, service and atmosphere were sooooo special, we decided to return two days later for our anniversary celebration and ten days after that because it was Thursday and yesterday, well just because. The salmon was exceptional, swordfish divine and the best meatballs this side... More

The food here is wonderful. Nice, intimate atmosphere. There is a bar, but it's separate from the dining area. Our server was very personable and very helpful going through the menu. The food was well prepared, nicely plated and fresh. The menu offers something for all. Overall, a very good experience.

The minute you walk through the front door, you feel as though you're in a very special place....great ambiance, wonderful staff, and a "killer" menu. All this from a restaurant housed in a strip mall! If you haven't tried it, you must. The meals are reasonably priced, perhaps a bit on the high side, but so worth it. The wait... More

Dined here with family and grandfather and grandmother. Service was non-pareil. The food was uniformly excellent. My father-in-law lived in Ancona for three years and has spent a great deal of time in Italy. When I asked him about his dinner he said "It was the best spaghetti Bolognese" he had ever eaten. My 11 year old son wanted linguini... More

We had dinner for the first time last night at Cibo and my entire family was raving! Everything was wonderful from the wait staff, wine, salads, soup, and our dinners. My daughter had the spinach salad and she ranked it as one of her best ever! The meatballs were incredible! We finished with a delicious tiramisu. The owner, Craig, stopped... More

We have eaten there 3 times and brought guests each time. Each time was a wonderful over-all dining experieince.I lived in S.CA for years, known for their food but this place is just as good as any there. The only thing lacking is the atmosphere of being in a strip mall but once inside you forget where you are and indulge!

This Italian restaurant is well hidden in a shopping mall but make sure you find it because it's very very good.
