Dinner last night was beyond excellent. The soup, the salad and the Shrimp Scampi were the 9's, the chicken dish was every bit as good and our guests were very pleased. We have been regulars since the opening, and have never been disappointed. Food and Service are the BEST. Entertainment is TOP Shelf. Dan Miller and Company are World Class,... More

We visited on Thursday evening and having read the reviews expected a lot. On arrival it was obvious this place is not for families. The room was full of wealthy retired people, this is fine but don't state 'we welcome children' on the phone if really you don't. The menu was ok but very expensive, they offer no children's menu... We were looking for a steakhouse and a friend recommended Roadhouse. We're glad we took his advice. Roadhouse is a hidden gem, located in a small shopping strip off San Carlos. The restaurant ambiance reminds me of an steakhouse in Chicago or New York. We got there around 5:30 and missed the live jazz music which starts at 7 pm.... More

We have been to the Roadhouse Cafe in past years and were pleased to find that it hasn't lost a beat. Food, service and atmosphere all remain some of the best in the area. My husband had the shrimp cocktail and pronounced it very good, high praise from him. I passed on an appetizer even though several looked great but... More

We were going take a close friend out for dinner so we planned to go to an old favorite which we have reviewed here before. With Spring Break happenning we didnt even think to make a reservation. He asked us if we had and we decided to call ahead just in case he was correct in thinking we needed one.... More

Don't let the exterior fool you, wait till you walk in then judge. Great place, excellent service, and good food, the steak was incredible! The music was very good also and the volume was just right, not too loud.

Great food, great music, great service - Really this place is a fine American restaurant, there were about 20 of us in the group and everybody had a wonderful time. Our waiter was excellent and the jazz band was superb. Highly recommended.

I had dinner Monday night at the Roadhouse Cafe. On special was a lobster tail, which I ordered and was wonderful. I also shared a beet salad that was excellent. Our server was Bev and she was very informed and an excellent waiter. She made our evening out a terrific experience. I will be back.

It has been a couple of years since I last wrote about this restaurant and I felt I should write to say that Sheri and her staff have managed to continue making this the best fine dining restaurant in Fort Myers by a long way. My wife and I have visited twice during our vacation this year both with large... More

Stop by for a great dinner, live music and a decent wine list. This "secret" place is a bit hard to find but worth the effort.
