Don't let the location fool you

the Roadhouse Café is found at the end of a less than glitzy shopping center but don't let this keep you from trying their excellent food and good music! Reservations a must during the Season.

It's a bit of a throwback to the days of nightclubs where dinner, drinks, and dancing combine to entertain patrons for the entire evening. The Roadhouse Cafe offers excellent food and couples it with some enjoyable straight-ahead jazz music. Service is attentive and the music is not so loud that you cannot talk with your companions while dining.

'I've been a lot of places and did a lot of things but felt lossed in the third world called SWF. Today I discovered the "Jewel in the Crown" nesseled in a strip mall way the hell and gone. The "Roadhouse" shade of my ill begotten youth! A real "Supper Club" or "Jazz Joint" which brought back the joyous memories... More

Great place to enjoy a fancy but not over the top meal... A 7 on my 1-10.. a 3 piece band place music and sang while we dined. Don't let the strip mall look fool you .. this placed is legit. Owners are from the Cape in MA... nice people. steaks, seafood were all great.

On a recent trip to Ft. Myers, Florida, my family and I chanced upon the Roadhouse Cafe. Don't let the strip mall local fool you, this place is amazing! Wide selection on the menu, stellar survice, fantastic food and live jazz! I ordered the duck, it was done perfectly! The crab cake appetizer was one of the best I have... More

Food was good, service was good, music was good, but nothing was out standing. It does have one good point, it is open late, which is unusual for the location.

I go for long titles, because the title pretty much says it all. Inside, the decor is dark and elegant, with a few touches of whimsey or opulence. The staff are welcoming and accommodating when they can be (especially if you are polite), but this place is usually PACKED in season, so make a reservation and make it well in... More

The Roadhouse Cafe is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful food. It has entertainment almost every night with a nice dance floor. It reminds me of an old fashioned dinner club with a modern flair. The owners are from Massachusetts and have a restaurant on Cape Cod. It is a little pricey, but the food is worth it. My favorite that... More

This fine-dining restaurant (it’s not really a café) is well-hidden in a strip mall and is non-descript from the outside. If you’ve never been before, leave some extra time just to find it! The interior is dimly lit and relatively nicely decorated. At first glance we thought we were way too young compared to the rest of the patrons, but... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to find this gem during our stay in Ft. Myers and we can't wait to return. upon walking through the door, where we were met by a friendy face (later we found out it was the owner Sherri) until we left, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. the food was...
