It all looks nice on pictures but the truth is different. I had called to reserve a table I don't know why because they didn't even ask me for my name. Then we got seated near the door and the people, servers and guests bumped in to me at all times after 15min of arriving I asked to speak to... More

We ordered Mojitos (turned out to be $12 each), salmon entree and garlic shrimp entree. Salmon portion was ridiculously small for $30; way overcooked and burnt. Black beans were soupy and plantains were too sweet for dinner. Garlic shrimp lacked any hint of garlic. Total bill over $100 for two and we left hungry. Service was bad, very slow. Parking... More

What a great experience! A great fusion of Cuban and Spanish dishes. Food was exceptional and the sangria was amazing. Everything we ate, including plantains, empanadas, croquettes, especially the rice and beans and the amazing chocolate cake was to die for and the service was spot-on. So many people made sure we had what we needed and even Mario, the... More

I went to this restaurant with friends but we were disappointed with the price of the food, rice and beans don't cost too much money. The place is just ok, think twice before you decide to go to this restaurant because you can get the same food for less money.

The empanadas were excellent, I wish I would have just order more of them. The Jack Daniels pork was a little dry the server recommended it and said if I liked the empanadas. We went there after seeing all the positive reviews but was disappointed. The restaurant was not even half full but they sat us in the back by... More

Mario and his staff have done it again!!! We hosted our wedding and reception at Mario's Catalina on May 16th, 2015. Our group was 27 guests in the main dining room. Mario seated our group comfortably together but we also had an opportunity to intermingle with the other guests that had reservations for the evening as well. The management team... More
