Some of the best food in Fort Lauderdale - can park in the front or behind the restaurant. It is rather small so suggest a reservation. During season and on the weekends it is very crowded but it is because the food is so delicious. One waitress there is lacking in personality you need to have in a service business... More

The mason jar serves an upgraded version of comfort food. I had the short ribs with Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. The meat was seasoned perfectly and was melt in your mouth tender. The Brussels we're cored and absolutely delicious. My friend had the snapper that was a very generous portion and perfectly cooked, with a corn spoon bread... More

Don't miss this place if you want some great food. This is the second time I have eaten here and wondered why I don't go here more often. Service is excellent and the food outstanding. I had the tuna salad and it was to die for. I could only eat half so brought the other half home.

Title says it all. The brussel sprouts are to die for! The sweet potato casserole and macaroni and cheese are delectable sides. My chicken pot pie was great and the seafood stew was also very good. One thing I wasn't expecting was the baked to order bread. So good! The place isn't fancy at all but the food is what... More

The King came across this place by accident on a Saturday evening. How fortunate we were to find this place. Everyone in our party of four was completely satisfied. The King had the best meatloaf ever, two of us had the very tasty duck, and one had the wonderful seafood stew. Everyone was completely happy with their meal. Service was... More

This is a really grand surprise. Tucked away on Federal Highway not too far south of Oakland Park Blvd., these folks serve really nice home -cooked dishes of home stlye food. Award winning meatloaf and fantastic sides. Plus you can share a bottle of wine! I recommend reservations if possible. Small, cozy and great service. A bit of about anything... More

It was my first time to this area and I was impressed with the abundance of restaurants. I was told that many are either there forever or just there for a year or two. This place may be in the in-between category, but everything we had was exceptional, in terms of being fresh, done with a bit of imagination (but... More

The Mason Jar Cafe is not easy to find, as it sits in a tiny strip store area, but don't be turned off by the location. The food offers a variety of unique flavors and presentations, and is a hidden gem. A little pricey for the location, but you get an interesting and unique meal.
