Food is very consistent. Service standard for this type establishment. Prices are reasonable. Been going there for years, only one bad meal which was taken care of immediately. The only negative is the owner seems so distant towards any customers. Although the wait staff is very attentive to your needs. Roast pork & burrito are our staples. Will always return... More

Always fresh and well prepared. A good lunch spot. Have the fresh chips and salsa and then pick from a variety of authentic Mexican and Cuban recipes.

This is not a fancy, hip eating establishment. This is a clean, great value for your money eating establishment! I love the "Tipico chimichanga" Seafood loaded with crab and logastina. We have never had a bad meal here and have been eating here for years. I can't believe there aren't big line ups. Over 9 days of vacation we had... More

Had not been here in years because the last time I went, the food was terrible and the place was dirty, old and falling apart. The food is cheap in quality, not in price and badly prepared. Not authentic at all. If you know Mexican food, you will hate this place. The people working there had no social skills, no... More

We are South Floridians who don't get to Fort Lauderdale often, except for the airport. So when we had a morning appointment downtown, we decided to go back to Canyon Southwest Cafe. (#2 for a reason!) Unfortunately, it was closed (Monday at lunchtime), but fortunately, TripAdvisor led us to this cute little cafe a short walk away. Older decor and... More

We visited Tipico on the recommendations of the staff at our guest house, nearly all of them said they eat there. What a find. It was some of the best Mexican I think I've eaten anywhere. I'd highly recommend it you're looking for something different in Ft. Lauderdale. I can't wait to go back.

Best chicken soup around. My husband and I come here every time we visit Ft Lauderdale. A casual, inviting dining space, courteous service, and flavorful consistent dishes.

I have been dining at Tipico for the last 10 years and can not remember a meal I did not like. The roast pork is my go to dish here. It comes with a large portion of pork, white rice, black beans and fried bananas. They also have homemade sangria which goes nicely with their dishes. Its a cozy place... More

If you want good, reasonably priced Mexican, this is the place to go. Very fresh and delicious on both our visits, and came in at under $20/person, with a beer each.

AYE CARAMBA ! NOT TYPICAL MEXICAN, OR SPANISH OR AMERICAN BUT MAYBE LATIN- AMERICAN. I HAVE LIVED IN LOS ANGELES FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND I HAD A HOUSE IN ACAPULCO FOR 26 YEARS. I know great typical Mexican food, from dives to first class. The food is good, I have been there 4 times but is more Latin -American... More
