The food is very typical Cuban food. The maduros are sweet and delicious. Go outside your comfort zone and order typical Cuban good. The Ropa Vieja is wonderful. Have it with white rice and black beans. Try the pork chunks or the chicken chunks, both are delicious. End it with a cuban coffee and enjoy the rest of the day... More

Was in town for business. Figured since I was so close to Miami I could find a good Cuban restaurant. Wow, was I surprised by this place. Business was slow but had a nice sized homey dining room. I am not an expert on Cuban food but compared to the 4 or 5 places I have eaten at in my... More

I wanted some Cuban food while in Fort Lauderdale and found this place on TripAdvisor. I took the Sun trolly on Las Olas to the Broward Art school then took a cab to Don Arturo which was $7. The atmosphere was dated, but no surprised as was expected from the reviews. This place was clean, has good food and some... More

Great food. Reasonable price. Good service. The place could use a decorator. Looks like I stepped into the 70's. But great for lunch.

Wonderful little restaurant which is never packed when I've gone. They're food is wonderful. I'm Cuban and cook a lot at home and when I go out and try to find true Cuban food its difficult because people label their food as Cuban but most times its Colombian or something else with seasonings we typically don't use. This place is... More

Recommended by friends and now recommended by us. Our 1st experience with Cuban food and we couldn't have picked a better one. Family owned since 1970. A family run business and " home styled food". Very good and nicely flavoured. We tried the pork as well as shredded beef. Tasty and very well priced. The meals came with rice and... More

I came to this restaurant for the first time back in the 70's. I thought I should return and check it out. I enjoyed the black beans and rice as well as the plantains. The pork tenderloin was very good..as remembered. The steak palamillo was just OK....better in my memory. The place is very casual with a feeling of yesteryear.... More
