We went on a Friday night for the scallop / scallop and catfish special. I just had the scallops. Considering that scallops sell uncooked for $17 -25 a pound the amount of scallops in the initial serving was unbelievable. I ate my full and still took home enough for dinner the next night. The price was great at under $20.... More

Catfish Deweys is a very good place for seafood lovers; parking is limited but if you arrive after 5pm the service station next door is closed and an attendant will find you a spot there. I had fried oysters as appitizer, blackened catfish for entrée and no room for free dessert. Food is plenty and the early bird is a... More

We live near this restaurant an frequent it at least twice a month. If you enjoy seafood, particularly fried, then this is your place. It's an extremely casual setting with a friendly staff, reasonable prices, and extremely large quantities of delicious food. The all you can eat specials are very popular. Also, don't hesitate to order the ribs on Wednesday... More

I was in FL. recently with six adult family members, and we were craving for some crab legs, but lot of places offered them at a high cost or bad quality. This restaurant is not your fancy place in front of the beach, but it is one of the best cozy places i have ever been in the Ft. Lauderdale... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local resident. Everyone at our table for 10 had something different off the menu. The mahi-mahi was perfect - firm, lightly seasoned. The catfish, shrimp, scallops and basa all hit their mark as well. The steak was beautifully cooked and presented; the frogs legs were spicy! But the vote of excellence went... More

I ordered the all you can eat crab legs, when they sat my plate down I notice something black on the plate. When I took a close look it was a dead fly! I called the manager over, he offered to get me a fresh plate. He should of gave me a free meal!

Really good food and BIG portions. Very popular restaurant but well worth the wait. Service was good and the atmosphere was fun.

Ordered blackened shrimp, was outstanding, being from New Orleans this was as close as you get. My wife ordered the all you eat shrimp, you could also get fish, it was great. On my shrimp platter there were about 24 shrimp, medium size for 17.95. The place was a little run down so don't dress up, food outstanding, be prepared to... More

I read about this restaurant on a message board I frequent and I have to say I was glad I listened to the advice. I was in Fort Lauderdale with my son for a two day pre-cruise stay. This is a wonderful restaurant, great atmosphere, fabulous food, and very attentive service. The hushpuppies were perfect and I can't say enough... More
