We've been to Chimas in Fort Lauderdale twice. The second time one goes to a place the apprehension is that it won't meet the expectation of the first good experience. Well, this did not disappoint. It would be very easy to skip the meat and just go for the salad bar which has the very expensive items like palm hearts,... More

Chima is a destination unto itself. You cannot walk to or from here - so take your time and make an evening of it. We had great service and the food was some of the best we had in FL. There is a nice patio area where groups were having cocktails before and after dinner. Great for all ages and... More

We read the reviews and made a reservation early Saturday afternoon for dinner at 7pm. Valet parking right in front of the restaurant was convenient. In the front they had an open courtyard for early drinks and outside dining. The appearance of the decor was rich and elegant. There was a background singer in the courtyard as well. We were... Wonderful selection on the extensive salad bar, seafood option for non-meat eaters, and delicious meats. While a bit on the noisy side, that can be managed by making the more intimate evenings non-weekend dates. We frequently dine there and enjoy introducing friends and family to Chima.

We visited Chima on December 2014, and it is definitely a great restaurant. Would definitely recommend to all.

A very popular Fort Lauderdale restaurant. Great food and atmosphere. Beautiful outdoor courtyard for pre-dinner drinks or just to sit around with friends. An extensive buffet of first course items including salads, cold meats, cheeses etc. Extensive selection of hot items are brought to your table include steak, chicken, sausages, pork and lamb. Very well seasoned and prepared. Good wine... More

Chima is a special occasion place for us. Caters to well healed, deep pocket regulars. It is very expensive with a nice fire and water theme decor. The Gaucho styled servers wear leather boots, and walk around serving up unlimited skewers of the best cuts of beef, pork and sausage, be ready to drop at least $100 per person with... More
