Had an awesome Mahi dinner 3 course for $19.99--These people are really working hard. Waiter very pleasant. Wife enjoyed her short rib dinner. Wine very reasonably priced. Great location. Not fancy, but can see all chef's training behind the glass in the kitchen. Chocolate dessert was great. Crab cakes ok. Not a place you'll be for 2 1/2 hours, but... More

We stayed at a hotel across the street and were fortunate to be in Ft. Lauderdale on the days the restaurant is open to the public. We had a delicious three course meal for $25, and glasses of a great champagne were $8 each. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is interesting because you can watch the chefs in training... This restaurant is a practicing place for students at the Culinary school of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. It is a great experience like some other reviewers said. The food is great of course but for us the joy is seeing all the newbies (potentially becoming great chefs in the future) practicing their skills. Highly recommended...We will be back... More

IT'S NOT A DINNER , IT IS A FEAST. IT IS NOT A DINNER OUT BUT A LEARNING EXPERIENCE. We were met at the door by our host Rollyn Angela, the host with the most , he sat us down at our table after a warm welcome and a friendly smile. Our server was KATE KENNEDY who was almost new... More

The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale has a culinary school and the school operates a restaurant 2 days a week for lunch and dinner. The students do an amazing job of hosting, cooking and serving. The dinner menu consisted of 3 courses and all were excellent, and the price is only $19.99. Both my wife and I and the couple... More

Our first time here, not sure what to expect. The chefs and servers are all students at AI, and you can see the chefs working through the big windows all around. The 3-course menu offers at least 4 selections in the appetizer, main entre, and dessert category. The roasted corn soup and hazelnut cheesecake were excellent. The flat iron steak... More

Four of us went on a Thursday night and had a great time especially given the prices. We all enjoyed our meals and found enough of a variety to suit our varied tastes and diets. The chef's in training have to spend time serving meals and our server wasn't very experienced and it showed. We made the best of it... More

Thank you for your very kind review. We appreciate your compliments very much as well as the constructive feedback on our student servers. We always try to pay extra attention and give support to those students that have never served before. They do get more comfortable as they progress in class and get more experience. We welcome your feedback. Thanks... More

I went there with two others for dinner. What a treat this was for all of us! The gourmet dinner menu consists of 3 courses with 4-5 options for each. We all picked different dishes at every course so that we could sample different things - everything was really amazing. We had a table right by the main kitchen and... More
