Big City Tavern is reminiscent of the great old taverns of Chicago, New York and Boston. The menu features fresh seafood, steaks, pasta and salads. Our extensive wine list emphasizes California varietals by the glass and bottle. Big City Tavern has a rotating selection of craft and specialty beers on tap and available in bottle. Desserts are all house made and all delicious. Big City Tavern features high tin ceilings, wood floors and rustic brick walls. Patrons can take their place at our long oak bar or in the comfort of the dining room.

Good Food, Good Atmosphere

My friend and I were just walking down Las Olas looking for a place to get a good burger. We asked the gal working in the gelato shop next door and she recommended Big City Tavern. It didn't disappoint! The beverages were icy cold and the burger and fries were hot and delicious. My friend and I... read more

Overall good comfort food. Service is quick. Can be quite busy. Sat outside with our dog. Surprisingly some good salads.

Love Big City Tavern. Had lunch, grilled salmon with tomato salad which was delicious and our server Helen was really informative about the menu and overall wonderful! Definitely one of my places to go while in Ft. Lauderdale.

They were not very friendly or accommodating. There was a large table next to us and they made us sit at two tables of four while that table stayed empty the... More

We loved the atmosphere, drinks, and food on our first visit that we went back the next night. But unfortunately we were disappointed by our food the 2nd night. The 1st visit we loved the appetizer special and all of our meals, 3 had pasta dishes and 1 had seafood. The 2nd night we liked the appetizer special but were... More

After taking the Carrie B Cruise, we wandered up and down Las Olas and decided to try Big City Tavern for dinner. Loved the look of it, menu was great too. Best bread ever, delicious, huge burgers, great wings. Everyone left happy and full.

I was looking for a classic American pub burger and tried out he Big City Tavern. The bar staff was very friendly and the beer was cold - guess you figured out that the burger was just ok - not bad but ok. If you are out walking on Las Olas you know it's more about higher end boutique restaurants... More
