Generous portions of good food

Had an early Sunday night dinner. It wasn't too crowded, and we got a table overlooking the patio. Service was good. Portions were generous, and we got plenty of scallops and shrimp in our entrees. Chicken dish was also very good. Three of us ate dinner for about $100 including wine. We would go... read more

While in Florida last weekend, we ate at Big City Tavern because it had been recommended by a friend. It was Sunday late morning and it was a busy, busy place. My husband ordered lunch and I had breakfast and both of us enjoyed our food. Our server, Mauricio, did an excellent job even though he was quite busy. He... More

Huge portions, staff is extremely friendly, but not attentive when place is crowded. My friend ordered medium fried patty and got it totally well-done.

Four of us went to Big City Tavern for happy hour. Nice deal! Two for one beer, wine and certain martinis. The wine and beer list is well assembled. The bar is large and we easily found space. Good service at the bar, too. We would come back for dinner. There is seating both inside and outside on Las Olas.... More

great place for lunch, full bar specialty drink a little pricey but I guess that the new norm. Had steak sandwich that was absolutely the most tender I have ever had, cam with shoe string fries that I thought was better than their truffle fries ( I would skip those next time). Service was great.

the food is quite good, although expensive. Any positives are cancelled by the extreme noise level at all times;low ceilings and lack of sound absorbing structural materials are at fault. Weekend are THE WORST. ...There are better more civilized restaurants nearby.. Save your hearing! It is quite outside but you are adjacent to heavy auto traffic and fumes....bring a gas... More

Went to Las Olas Blvd. for the first time and we stumbled across the Big City Tavern. We went to have a few drinks and appetizers at the bar. We got our first drink and appetizer fairly quickly. But here is where it gets bad. My husband sat empty for over 15 minutes as did the group of people sitting... More

Food is quite good and fairly priced. The wife loves the chocolate martinis here. Can get very busy and you may have to wait for a table if you don't have a reservation, even in the off season.

I love Las Olas so much, I meet a group of gals at the BC Tavern once a month, the place is lovely and food is great. Plus it's in a great location.

We went for brunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is delightful.
