We have driven by for many years. Chinese food is America is frequently mediocre with msg, salt, fat and cannot compare to other great choices like Thai or Japanese. EXCEPT for Rainbow Palace. From the moment you walk in, it's a "wow" - a wall full of awards, year after year. Once dining, you'll know they are well deserved. I'll... More

Normally after a very long trip with layovers (very long for me is anything longer than instantly) my appetite has trouble kicking for a while. Luckily, upon my arrival to Fort Lauderdale, I was taken to the Rainbow Palace. The food here was spectacular. But it was far better because of the service we experienced. The waitress suggested almost everything... More

Not a chain but an authentic Chinese restaurant that is elegant and well staffed. The lobster dumplings and scallops grand marnier.... Make you count the days to come back

While with friends for a business lunch, I was taken to this restaurant. WOW, great selection, good presentation, first class services, like a 5 star restaurant, not usual with Chinese food, sorry no offence to any one. The value was good too and I look forward to returning.

i frequent this place once or twice a year. The food is great and the chef has a unique flair and style that you dont get from other restaurants in the area. Yes, it is pricey, but it not unreasonable. This is not a fast food joint and the ambiance when you walk in and atmosphere is excellent. I will... More

Very disappointing; appetizers were awful - wantons and 1 greasy spring roll. Mains were ok but certainly not worth the high price. We know good food and this certainly was not. Surprised to see all the good reviews here - compared to where I'd love to know!

Don't be put off by the unassuming exterior of this place – there is a jewel of a restaurant inside. We started with calamari, which was very good and a good portion size for 2 to share. For our entrees, I really enjoyed the night’s special, which was a crispy fish. My dining partner (who is a fried-rice fanatic) raved... More

If you are looking for a tasty down home type Chinatown type restaurant - look elsewhere. This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. Many people do not come here because of the high prices. This is the best Chinese restaurant in Fort Lauderdale for its ambiance and food. The duck and lobster is delicious. This is the best Chinese restaurant... More

Yes, the restaurant is more expensive than your average Chinese restaurant, but this isn't your "average" restaurant. Sadly most people do not understand or appreciate fine dining. It is not just about the food, but rather the entire dining experience. The staff is professional (what one might call white-glove service) with excellent attention to detail, and the food is extremely... More
