Our favorite restaurant

My wife and I love the Rainbow Palace. The wonton soup is the best you'll ever have. No food coloring. Made fresh every day and served hot. The spring rolls are unbelievable. I could eat 20 of them. Order the crispy steak with sauce on the side. Eat it both ways with the sauce and without. Both... read more

I went for dinner with 7 other people most everyone ordered something different. Two of us ordered the Duck Grand Marnier. It was fabulous in everyway. The rest of my group all raved about their choices as well. When I first saw the prices I was a little surprised but it was well worth it. Great place for an Anniversary... More

This is not what you expect to find in Fort Lauderdale, but if you consider yourself an afficionado of chinese cuisine, then don't miss this. True, the location does not belie what you will find inside, but once inside, from the table linens to the wait staff, you know you are in some place special. A special tip is the... More

I have eaten in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Old Canton, Beijing, etc. This is as good as anywhere. I must warn that you need reservations and it is very PRICY for a Chinese menu. (Our tab was $600.00+ for 5 of us. With drinks, of course, but no bottles of wine. I had scallops, which were our of this world. The... More

I've eaten a lot of Chinese food in my life, but this was one of the best Chinese meals that I ever ate. We kind of stumbled onto Rainbow Palace by accident and I am so glad that we did! It's an elegant restaurant in a rather bland strip mall. Once inside you feel a sense of a very classy... More

Did not enjoy this second visit as the First one. I requested a good table upon reserving and they gave me the worst one, against a wall. The waiter pushed for the most expensive plates and excessive amounts. The lamb chops where only so- so. Much to expensive for the aggregate quality. I noticed a change for the worse since... More

Without question one of the 10 best Chinese restaurants I've been to in the US. For New Yorkers, the service and delicious (but updated) classics will evoke comparisons with Shun Lee Palace and Mr Chow. Not to be missed are the shrimp and lobster dumplings or the Orange Beef. The fried rice is a transcendent mix of fluffy deliciousness totally... More

You will be surprised once you step into the Rainbow Palace as the plain outside is no indication of the exquisite service you will receive. You will be made to feel very special and pampered by the staff. The real star of the show is the food. I often have Chinese in NYC and Rainbow Palace has them all beat.... More

once of the best Asian food experiences outside of NYC. This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. It wreaks of class, yet attire can be jeans. Servers wear tuxedo's and are attentive, polite, courteous and knowledgeable. He foods were mouth watering. Nothing can be faulted. The only caveat is the cost. This is a very pricey establishment. Wine and dinner... More
