Outstanding

If you are aware or at least open to the possibility that China has a centuries-old tradition of fine cuisine, and are not put off by the idea of prices consistent with that tradition, you will definitely want to explore what Rainbow Palace has to offer.

The menu and specials all sounded so good that it was great that they will split the dishes. We had the Chef Spicy Fried Rice, South Sea Curry Scallops and Shrimp in Szechuan Sauce. All were very good. They were not as spicy as we would like but I think we outside the norm. They offer chopsticks for those who... More

We wanted a nice Chinese dinner and had heard the food was good here. While the ambiance is wonderful, the food more innovative than you'd expect and the service beyond excellent I just can't get over the prices. Six bucks for one spring roll, and they actually charge five dollars a pot for tea. Our bill was over one hundred... More

To make a long story short, we ended up here on accident, but it was an incredible (and expensive) incident! We were staying in a different part of town and wanted non strip mall Chinese, which is what our hotel recommended, so we gps'd Chinese places after giving ourselves a self tour of Fort Lauderdale and ended up here. We... More

My wife and I love the Rainbow Palace. The wonton soup is the best you'll ever have. No food coloring. Made fresh every day and served hot. The spring rolls are unbelievable. I could eat 20 of them. Order the crispy steak with sauce on the side. Eat it both ways with the sauce and without. Both ways are phenomenal.... More

I went for dinner with 7 other people most everyone ordered something different. Two of us ordered the Duck Grand Marnier. It was fabulous in everyway. The rest of my group all raved about their choices as well. When I first saw the prices I was a little surprised but it was well worth it. Great place for an Anniversary... More

This is not what you expect to find in Fort Lauderdale, but if you consider yourself an afficionado of chinese cuisine, then don't miss this. True, the location does not belie what you will find inside, but once inside, from the table linens to the wait staff, you know you are in some place special. A special tip is the... More

I have eaten in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Old Canton, Beijing, etc. This is as good as anywhere. I must warn that you need reservations and it is very PRICY for a Chinese menu. (Our tab was $600.00+ for 5 of us. With drinks, of course, but no bottles of wine. I had scallops, which were our of this world. The... More
