My wife and I found this gem while visiting Ft. Lauderdale. We always try and find the best restaurants while traveling. We definitely found a good one. Order the small portion of roasted chicken wings with caramelized onions and focaccia bread. For the main course order the small Paul and Young Ron pizza. It has meatballs, sausage, sweet peppers and... More

Forever, Florida was known (at least in my world) for having TERRIBLE pizza. Was it the water? Maybe. Lack of people who know how to make a truly tasty pie? Perhaps. But, after scouring reviews and Tripadvisor, we decided to give it a try. Were we pleasantly surprised! The crust was medium/thin and CRUNCHY. Just the way it should be... More

We visited Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Ft Lauderdale initially because it was within walking distance of our port hotel. What a find! Fresh, fresh salad with light homemade Italian dressing and wood grilled crisp crust pepperoni and fresh mushroom pizza. The portions were huge and service was prompt and friendly. We did wait about 25 minutes for a table... More

I have only had take out, but they have a drive up service and you don't even get out of your car. We have had the sausage and pepperoni pizza and occasionally request the argula for the top of the pizza. We alway get the chicken wings which is topped with grilled onions and coal fire bread on top. It... More

I really do understand the concept of coal fired pizza and it doesn't mean burning the crust! Take Q from a better coal fire pizza maker " Esposito Coal Fire Pizza in Davie" they don't burn their crust!

Stopped in town on the way to the Keys and saw the reviews for Anthony's so decided to try it. The place was buzzing when we came in- and it was a Sunday night! The menu had some interesting pizzas as well as the classics. We tried a "family sized" salad and Broccoli Rabe pizza. The salad was fresh and... More

I had heard about this restaurant for years, but this was my first pizza from here. OK, I must admit folks were right...IT'S OUTSTANDING! You just don't expect a pizza could be that much better than all the others, but it is. Don't know the secret. Cheese? Coal? Whatever it is it has a unique flavor unlike any other. WE'LL... More

We went to Anthony's about 2 years ago and liked the restaurant but were just not crazy about the coal fired pizza. We kept seeing all the wonderful reviews for the place and our friends all spoke so highly of it we thought we would try it again. My husband remembered a huge salad that looked very good and we... We stopped here to kill time before our flight. We didn't expect such a nice layout. Warm atmosphere, great servers, and the food was delicious! I suggest the roasted wings to goo along with your pizza.
