Great place for Mexican food!

Another favorite stop for my annual business trip to Ft. Lauderdale. Amazingly enough, the Manager (Roberto?) actually remembers me from year to year! Hospitable service, great margaritas, and solidly good Mexican food.

For those that are really partial to Mexican food, 4* would have been a more appropriate rating! However, service was good and so was the food quality. Quantities were large!

The food is fresh and good. The place is big and noisy. I ate a Barrito and other things all were very good. Their prices are high.

We were at C&P about 5:00 when they opened. (They are not open for lunch or we would have gone there for lunch) We again, had quesadillas, super nachos, margaritas and beer. And again, it was very good! We will continue to go to Carlos and Pepes when we are on 17th set Causeway.

Salsa was a tomato liquid with no flavor. Pretty sure the rice was from a box. Tea was good. Enchiladas were bland. Asked the server to separate the ticket, there was only two of us, and she said, why don't you each just pay half, that would be close. Wow. And most of all- the prices are RIDICULOUS

My family of five tried a bit of everything on the menu and it was all good. I recommend the sangria! The waiter had a mishap and dropped a tray of our food, but the wait to get it back out wasn't too bad.

Beer taps broken. Chips and salsa. Salsa 95% tomatoes. Some served cold, some served room temperature from under the bar - weird. Fajitas - skirt steak? Um no. 5 fat finger shaped slugs of steak without seasoning. No rice. No beans. Guacamole...hmm....questionable source. Cheese. Sour cream is extra. What? Tortillas - the cheapest store bought they make, microwaved. Complete with... More

Friendly spot to take in if you're in the area. Food is fine, but not to die for! Even something as simple as a taco left a lot to be desired.

Have been making a point to eat here whenever in South Florida on business and have been doing so since the 80's. Food is still just as tasty, just a tad pricier and the portions smaller. Crab Meat Nachos are very good. Prickly Pear without salt is a great way to get the evening started. Salsa should be drained before... More
