It's a Salad Bar! How Great Can That Be???

It's a salad bar. The vegetables are fresh. The dressings are mostly mayonnaise-based unless you want some gooey "diet" Italian. The soups are plentiful and decent, but nothing to write home about. The pasta is OK. The people who give a restaurant such as this 5 stars would have to give Burger... read more

whenever in Florida I love eating at sweet tomatoes. I particularly like the soups and the breads. I took a friend with me and he thought that there should be better labeling on the salad bar. It is always a treat I wish that we had these up north.

There are more than one Sweet Tomatoes in the Fort Lauderdale area. We ate the one located in a mall off Stirling and Oakwood Blvd. Since we do not have a Sweet Tomatoes anywhere near us, it is a treat to come here. I love the salad bar – you name the salad topping and it is probably there. They... More

Easy parking, clean facility. Friendly staff. The salad bar is very good. I had a large salad, ice tea, soup, bread, and yogurt.

Despite my uncle's negative view, the rest of us liked Sweet Tomatoes (and I don't even like tomatoes). It is a healthier buffet of salads and soups, along with some pasta, breads, and pasteries. There are many options and it was all fresh and tasty. The price was reasonable, especially since my aunt had a coupon for all of us.... More

This is apparently a salad buffet. They also have like 8 different soups they make in the kitchen, big bowls of hot pasta, and baked potatoes, pizzas, desserts..... for a salad buffet it filled me up and I wasn't sure what to expect! When it's your first time there, they give you a small bag of homemade cookies and a... More

A unique al you can eat salad, soup and baked goods buffet, with many healthy options. The multitude of items on the salad bar provides something for anyone’s taste. The selection of soups enhances the salad buffet and the selection of breads makes a good completion to your meal. There is a number of bakery items, puddings and soft serve... More

Nice salad bar with lots of trimmings. Several soups to choose from - all tasty and fresh. The breads are also tasty. The hot dishes are OK, but not the high point. The salad bar is the go to reason. Price is very reasonable for a good fresh dinner.

It's fabulous to have a wide choice of veggies that are cleaned and cut already so I can make exactly the salad I want. They also have pre-made items, 2 chilies, 4-6 soups, loaded baked potato bar, 3 pastas, muffins, great corn muffins, and make your own sundae bar, even decaf choices of soda or coffee.
