The food was very good. Pretty much ala carte. Not portion sizes you get used to from the pricey Italian places, but still tasty. We should have tried the steaks as we heard they were really good. A great wine selection. The bar lounge area has a piano with a guy singing. He was very good and the drinks were... More

This is something special. The setting is lush, the ambiance is inviting, and the food is something to rave about. We shared a salad as a starter, which we both raved about. Then I went for flounder and my partner salivated over the duck. Portions were generous so no desert. The cost including a good bootle of wine, came to... More

I can not fault Bistro Mezzaluna - the service, the food, the ambiance - one of the best dining experiences I have had in Fort Lauderdale. The bar is delightful, the bar staff attentive - the wait staff professional and courteous and the food cooked perfectly - I started with a salad and had lobster and steak as my main... More

This hidden gem is located off 17th Street Causeway in Fort Lauderdale, right behind Outback Restaurant. A bit hidden, but worth the scavenger search. Valet or self-parking easily accessible. Once you enter the large double doors the ambiance impresses you with high ceilings and carefully orchestrated bar area. Walk by the wine room and be tempted by the huge selection.... More

Six of us enjoyed a fabulous meal with excellent service. The fish, I had snapper, tasted as if it had jumped to the plate from the ocean. Others had flounder and seafood pasta, and reported the same. Sat outside in an enclosed garden area which added to the ambiance of the evening.

My third visit to Bistro Mezzaluna last night was as amazing as the first two visits from the service to the food to the ambience. Super excited to find out that they are open for lunch as well. The food is top-notch! I highly recommend the Snapper & Salmon entrees. Always have to start with the Meatball Appetizer. Just booked... More

We visited this restaurant with high expectations. We like to have drinks and chat before dinner so arrived before 7 The restaurant was pretty empty. They said it was full upstairs. When we were seated I asked about the music and was told it was at the bar area. too bad. They came a few times to urge us to... More

We visit Bistro on a regular basis and the reason is that they are consistently good with their food and service. Last night we had stone crabs, since the season just started! They were excellent. Many wait at Joe's Stone Crab on South Beach, but I find that Bistro's are just as fresh and delicious. Phil, our waiter, was very... More

other than a very good server (Todd) the evening was VERY disappointing, to say the least. The Bolognese Pasta was average and not what I would have expected from a restaurant of that caliber. My fiancé enjoyed the rack of lamb, no problem there. The welcome when we arrived was less than enthusiastic. The dining room was very loud and... More

What a birthday treat it was to have dinner at Bistro Mezzaluna Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. I loved the quiet that permeated the restaurant and the hum of people talking and enjoying themselves.
