After checking around the area, we thought this non-chain restaurant might be a great place to try local fare. We walked there from our hotel and were escorted to the covered patio, probably because we were in casual attire, but found the seating to be pleasant and enjoyable. The food was good and tasty, and the service was professional and... More

Really loved the food here. We had a group of 5 women and everyone loved their meal. The spaghetti, oysters, spinach, sea bass, salads - all was wonderful. We sat outside and it was very pleasant. Staff was great. A little pricey, about $60-$80pp for dinner and 2 glasses of wine. Everything is ala carte. Very nicely decorated. A romantic... More

First time at this Italian restaurant. Our group had a variety of food and everyone was very pleased. The pasta was perfectly prepared and the meat balls were moist. Oysters were fresh and very enjoyable. The standout was the seared tuna in panko crumbs served with wasabi mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Outstanding.

First time eating at this fine restaurant. Menu filled with many excellent choices, we tried the shrimp, scallop, calamari salad for an appetizer. Delicious. We both ordered specials, veal for my guest and I had the seared Ahi Tuna. Both were exceptional. Plenty of food, cooked to perfection. Topped off the meal with some raspberry sorbet and some scotch and... More

I eat at Bistro Mez pretty often the food is consistently delicious and the service is top notch. They have a nice happy hour menu with a variety of options and also happy hour drink specials. The veal creations are incredible. I always eat in the bar area because I dine solo and can always count on good conversation with... More

We started at the bar with cocktails. Excellent service and very good firecracker shrimp. We went to a table in the bar for dinner. Sesame seared rare tuna was very tasty and the Bolognese pasta was excellent. The happy hour scampi was okay. Table service was also just okay. Overall we enjoyed the experience.

About 5 years ago we dined at the Bistro Mezzaluna in a different location and had some not-so-special mussels. But this time the 4 of us had no complaints. The scallops, the linguine with clams, the shrimp scampi, and their signature pine crusted sea bass were all superb. The arugula salad was fresh and expertly prepared with olive oil and... More

It was the first time, but not the last, we dined in this restaurant and we could not have been more please with the whole experience. We were greeted at the door as we entered, and while waiting for our friends to arrive had a cocktail in the very comfortable bar area. I knew we were in fro a treat... More

We didn't know anything about this restaurant. We drove in from Tampa and wanted to eat before we checked into the hotel. I pulled up this website and the menu looked good so we decided to try it. The menu has lots of different things from pasta to lobster and some different types of appetizers for a place like this.... More
